George's POV

I paused as I listened carefully to what Kyra was saying. Well, that made sense because we have searched again and again for that pack. I have sent some people to search for the pack. And one reason I had set those warriors back then free when Kyra asked me to was because I had sent spies to follow them secretly.

Those men came back with a very unpleasant report.

“They disappeared,” they mentioned, and now I understand why they seem to have disappeared.

This time, Kyra was telling the truth. But what exactly did these people do to her for her to sell them off like this?

“We don't believe you!” Felix blurted out before I could speak.
