Monica's pov

*Exile*

"I will be going now," I said to Mama.

It has been nice staying with her, but staying with her for long would mean danger for me.

I know that they are Alpha Baxter wolves looking for me out there.

She looks at me and nods. "Okay, we will meet another time, Monis."

I waved back at her and waved in response.

I started off going through the skypack. I had almost walked halfway across the city.

I felt my body reacting in a strange manner. But I did not respond to it; rather, I continued on my journey.

At once, I threw up. It was not strange at all. I was pregnant and in the first stage. I felt bad about myself, and I was not comfortable.

"Are you okay, ma?" someone said to me.

Without looking at him, I nodded in response, "Yes, I am okay. I was just reacting after eating a very bad meal today."

He tries to take a clearer view of me, but I do not allow him.

"Did you need help?" he added.

"No, I said I was fine," I spat. "I just want to be alone, please."
