In another place, not so far from the residence of the Argent Family, a woman seemed busy - going back and forth here and there, hawking various kinds of food that they were going to eat that night.
Erin Cooper. A single mother who has been the backbone of the family since her husband left ten years ago.
Morning to evening she will be busy with all kinds of office work, at night she fulfills her duties as a mother to her twins. Gabriel and Ashton.
At first glance, the small family looks like an ordinary family in general. But in reality they are not from ordinary families.
Erin is the wife of Dennis Cooper - the most respected werewolf in Moonwood City.
Dennis died ten years ago during a dispute between the werewolves clan and the vampire clan, Dennis's death is still a mystery and only a handful of parties know exactly how it happened. Charles Argent one of them.
Since that day the werewolves Moonwood clan lost their leader, –Ashton and Gabriel whom they hoped to become the next Alpha.
One year ago Ashton has officially become an Alpha. The leader of all the werewolves in Moonwood City.
Erin's worries are getting worse — worried that her two children will have the same fate as her late husband. Both Ashton and Gabriel managed to convince Erin that they could carry out their duties well.
"Gabriel! Ashton! The food is ready!" shouted Erin from the kitchen.
"Yes, mom. I am coming ...!" said a young man who had just put his two feet on the last step that faced directly into the dining room.
Erin turned to greet the second child with a smile.
Gabriel, or just call him Gabe, like most people. The owner of the tiny face looked at his mother, then turned to the dining table which was filled with various kinds of food.
"What's the matter? Why is there so much food? Just dinner as usual, right?" Gabe asked, one eyebrow raised as his eyes caught the presence of a chocolate cake with several candles burning on it.
He also brought his leg to the dining table, then sat beside his mother while looking at the chocolate cake. His chocolate bead explored each letter neatly written on the cake. Happy sweet 18th, Gabriel and Ashton. That sentence was written on the cake.
"Looks like I have to blow out these candles now," Gabe said without looking at his mother's face.
The woman swept her gaze across the corner of the room, looking for another figure who had not yet joined in their midst.
"Where, Ash?" Erin is curious about Ashton's whereabouts. Gabe leaned over Erin.
"He's out with Archie. They want to check out the newcomers who occupy Mitchell Hills." Gabe explained.
And ... PYUHHH!
Gabe blew out the candles without asking. Erin's eyes gasped in surprise when she found the candles extinguished in one blow.
Gabe chuckled softly at the rare sight. "Never mind. Let's just start dinner." he said. "Besides, Ash wouldn't care about things like this. As usual." continued Gabe calmly.
"But Ash must be grinning when he blows out the candles with you, Gabe." snapped Erin.
"All right. I'll light the candle back, ma'am." Gabe sighed in resignation.
He immediately pulled a lighter from in front of Erin, split the flame among the eighteen candles. "It is done, right?" added Gabe.
PYUHHH!
But Gabe was acting up again. The candles went out again in one blow. Erin was annoyed at the annoying behavior of her son.
"Oh, honey! Come on!" Erin protested.
"We'll turn it on when Ash is really home, mom." he replied accompanied by a small twitch at the end of his sentence.
"That is, if he doesn't come home past midnight." he continued.
Gabe smiled a little to find Erin who was still bending her face on the other side. "Excuse me. Are you Mrs. Cooper?" Gabe asked.
Gabe shook his head with a chuckle. Want to tease the mother back.
"Ah, I don't think so. Mrs. Cooper has never bent her face like this." Gabe continued as he gently stroked Erin's hand.
"Excuse me, miss? Where are you hiding my beautiful mother?" Gabe teased as he glanced over his pair of round blinds as he managed to catch Erin's attention.
In the next split second, Erin smiled a sweet smile when her nethermen managed to catch the same smile from her son who was sitting at the same table with her.
"All right. Let's eat now! The soup is almost cold." exclaimed Erin as she placed the spoon in Gabe's bowl.
"Do not forget to pray." She continued.

As Gabe said earlier, Ash and Archie went to Mitchell Hills. A classic style mansion that from today has been occupied by its new owner, the Argent family.
Ash and Archie scanned all parts of the mansion from a distance. Not too far, but close enough from their reach. Archie's sense of smell sniffed out a distinctive scent that no other werewolves, apart from Alpha, could pick up.
"Tsk! This smell ..." muttered Archie.
Whether he realized it or not, his words sounded quite loud, unlike normal murmurs. The sentence succeeded in making Ash turn all his attention to Archie who was busy rubbing the tip of his nose.
Ash looked at Archie with his eagle eyes sharpened. "There are other creatures besides vampires, right?" asked Ash without hesitation.
Ah no. Ash wasn't asking. More precisely, he wanted to try to get rid of his curiosity about Archie. That question is just an inducement.
Since they arrived in Mitchell Hills, Ash saw a lot of strange signs that his friend showed. And now, he's trying to make sure something is bothering him quite a bit with Archie's weird behavior.
Archie gave a faint nod in response. Unconsciously he was pulling the bait that Ash threw at him, then said, "Human ... And ... Human Hyb-" Archie immediately closed his mouth after realizing that he had swallowed the small bait Ash had given him.
Bingo!
Ash smiled with satisfaction when he got what he wanted. Archie did have something to hide from him.
"Only the Vampire, Alpha, and Hybrid itself can smell the existence of other Hybrids." Ash explained at length.
Ash tilted his head slightly to the left, staring at Archie's bright yellow bead that looked different from his when he was about to or was transforming into his werewolves form. "Tell the truth. Who turned you into a Hybrid, Archie?" demanded Ash.
"Tell the truth. Who turned you into a Hybrid, Archie?" demanded Ash. Archie scratched the corner of his brow, he really was spotted. "Ah. That ... Actually, I also don't know exactly who did it back then. Because—" Archie gasped. He hasn't really finished his sentence yet, but Ash so calmly interrupted his words. "Is the Purebloods in there?" Ash asked as he stretched his right index finger to the magnificent Mitchell mansion that was clearly displayed in front of them. This is dangerous. Ash did not let go of his sharp gaze for even a second from the magnificent building. He tried to scan, looking for the culprit who had changed his friend. Even though his gaze and tone were so calm, it was actually dangerous. Ash was gathering all his strength and was ready to attack his prey. "P-purebloods? What do you mean, Ash?" asked Archie, stuttering. Either he was pretending, or indeed he did not know the facts. But his question managed to distract Ash fr
Still in the same room, all the members of the Argent Family turned their full attention to Charles alone. He kept his anger to himself, and managed to make his children and grandchildren feel worried - curious about the cause. The three grandchildren approached, then stood around the grandfather. "Doesn't your mouth taste sour? You became quiet after coming into contact with that hybrid boy." said Leona. Leona rotated her eyes when Charles suddenly laughed with amusement at her behavior and words. Not. Not only Charles, but everyone in the room also laughed. She cast her bright gaze at those who had been laughing at her since a while ago. "Can you stop laughing? It's not the time to laugh at me, grandpa." Leona grumbled. Loui nodded. He confirmed Leona's statement. "That's right. You has to tell us something, grandpa." replied Loui. "So, what did you get from that hybrid brat? Looks like it really bothered you, Grandpa?" said Luca. Luca's curiosit
"Ashton! Come here, son." called Erin when the front door of her house creaked, followed by the sound of footsteps. Ash immediately straightened his body after successfully closing the door tightly — he approached Erin with long strides. "Sorry, Mom. I forgot that today we have dinner together." he explained. Erin immediately hugged her son and then congratulated him with a series of prayers and hopes for her eldest son. Ash didn't flinch. He tightened his hug to Erin. "I almost made a fuss, ma'am." softly Ash. "Are you making a fuss in Mitchell Hills, Ash?" Erin was curious. In the next split second Ash let go of his embrace, – staring into Erin's sad eyes. Instead of answering, Ash asked in return, "How did you know?" Erin gently rubbed the top of Ash's head while reviewing a smile when her nether eyes met Ash's jet bead. "Just answer, honey. I just need an answer." "A pureblood managed to turn Archie into a hybrid. And in the house
Malia was busy pouring hot water into her favorite big mug. Her smile grew when she heard the sound of screaming footsteps getting closer to her."Loui. We can chat on the balcony of your room, right? I don't want to stare at the cen—" Malia jumped in surprise as she turned.Luca stood in the doorway and gave him a sad look. Malia continued to put on a sweet smile - she was trying her best to break the awkwardness she had just accidentally made."Want to tell me something?" asked Malia excitedly.Luca left, walking ahead after giving a nod in response. Malia followed awkwardly. She was really confused and felt bad. She called out Loui's name before turning around and confirming who had come to her at that time. She really felt that she was the cause of the sad look Luca had shown her just a moment ago. They sat together on the balcony of Luca's room. Awkwardly, Malia sipped her warm chocolate while
"Brother! Did you make Malia angry?" Leona spoke up after nearly thirty minutes of silence as everyone was busy with their own business.Loui focused on driving and paid attention to the road in front of him. Luca who sat behind him was drowning with the thick book in his hand. Malia, who that day chose to sit next to Luca, leaned her head against the window glass, closing her eyes, pretending to be asleep."Loui Argent! Can you hear me?" Leona tilted her head slightly; noticed Loui who was so engrossed in driving their new car.Loui gave Leona a quick glance, then returned all his attention to the road in front of them. He chuckled softly as he caught the annoyed look Leona was showing him."We'll talk about that later, Leona Argent." he whispered.Leona sneered at all Loui's words. "Ya, ya, ya. Whatever!" replied Leona irritably.Loui stopped the car in front of a building that re
"Leona, we'll wait in the parking lot, okay? Looks like Ash wants to talk about a lot of things."Malia immediately pulled Loui - took him away leaving Leona with Ash. They stop in their tracks when their eye catches Leona and Ash going to the forest behind the University building.Initially, Malia and Loui wanted to let them settle the business they had to settle. But when Loui's sense of smell caught a very familiar smell. He became worried.Loui immediately took Malia to the place where Gabe and Archie were -entrusting Malia to both of them."Hey!" shrieked Malia. "Am I looks like a thing? Why did you leave me with them?" Malia grumbled in annoyance at the word 'leave' which Loui said to Gabe and Archie.Loui smiled a slight smile as he rubbed the top of Malia's head gently and said, "Sorry, just a moment, OK? I'm afraid Skarsgard will mess up." he said. "Wait here just a moment, OK?"As if
The only magnificent mansion in the Mitchell Hills area, the arrival of a guest. One of the important people of Moonwood City. Erin Cooper, wife of Dennis Cooper - long lost friend of Charles as well as Stefan Argent."Finally we can meet and drink tea together like this," said Stefan after sipping his tea and putting his cup back on the table. "Your twins are all grown up, Erin." he continued with a smile.Erin was embarrassed –whether she had to be happy or embarrassed, because Ash had already met Stefan and Charles –her husband's old friends with a bad impression."I'm sorry about that. He's too sensitive about everything to do with his pack." said Erin to Stefan with a clumsy smile at the end of the sentence.Charles only smiled when he heard Erin's small explanation. "I understand, Erin. Your son is trying to be a good Alpha-like his father. Naturally, he behaves like that," continued Charles.Stefan nodd
It was two o'clock in the morning. Archie still couldn't close his eyes. All of Ash's words were still swirling in his head. Confused, angry, sad to be one. He really couldn't imagine what it would be like if he turned into an evil vampire –the werewolves' biggest enemy? But, before that all happened, it would be better if he was eliminated by his pack or the Alpha –Ash – his best friend. Like it or not, whether it is ready or not, it must be eliminated before it's too late. Because turning into the greatest enemy of the werewolves was never in his dreams. It's been almost a week that he shut himself off from the outside, locked himself in his studio apartment. He did not go anywhere, did not see anyone, also he turned off his cellphone and other communication. He's avoiding everyone. Including Ash and Gabe, who are always on the list of the most important people in his life. Thank goodness he was just an orphan. There was no need t
