RUBY’S POV

“So tell me, did you have a good time without me while you were on your date?” was the first question Clarissa asked when I showed up on the porch of our house with Sally after getting out of the Uber and I rolled my eyes in response.

“Stop being jealous, Clarissa. You know you’ll always be my best friend and number one” I told her while laughing as I took off my shoes and she huffed while folding her arms across her chest.

“So you did have fun without me. How was it with her? awkward, enlightening, fun or just blank boring?” she asked me after we both came in and Sally hopped around in the living cheerfully.

She didn’t get to play at Patricia’s place but I could tell she enjoyed her lunch and dinner which was probably why she was energetic. Patricia was a great cook.

“Hello, aunt Clarissa,” Sally greeted while she kept on hopping around and Clarissa picked her up when she wouldn't stop. Then she began to laugh when she started to tickle her.
