CHAPTER 59

RUBY’S POV

While I waited until it was dark, I busied myself with making dinner then I laid on the couch to pass the time until my alarm finally rang to signal it was time for work and with a tired sigh, I got off the couch and headed to my room where I got my clothes for work and tucked them into a bag.

Then I took a quick shower before I dried my hair and styled it into wavy lines. Once I was done, I grabbed my phone and sent a quick text to Clarissa to let her know that I was heading to work and Sally was home alone before I took my car keys, made my way to my car, and drove off to the club.

I finally arrived as many assumptions swirled in my head about why Dax wanted me at the club and I went straight to Avery’s office to see her. She was in the middle of a call when I walked in so took a seat and waited and when she was done, she turned to me and smiled.
