I WANT HAZEL BACK.

KAI'S POV.

Life had been hellish as soon as I saw Hazel out of the pack house. What was I even thinking when I did that?

"You were all over that bitch, Vera." Kyle, my wolf, reminded me.

"Shut the fuck up!" I yelled at him like he was not in me.

I angrily picked up my royal cup and threw it at the wall.

"Just shut up!" I almost cried after.

That statement was the bitter truth anyway. The truth hurt so much.

For the past years since Hazel left, pain, pain, and pain were what I had been feeling.

I hated myself for letting her go, but then I realized what my father was always talking about when he was still alive, he would say, "She's part of you, if you let her go, you will lose a part of you."

I hated myself for not remembering my father's words when I was signing the divorce papers. I hated myself more because if I had remembered, I could have signed the papers still.

I was just so blinded.

I could have noticed that my choice was wrong when Kyle was so against me,
