They both took a taxi and left the apartment together, arriving at one of the most luxurious hotels in the city.

Jade gazed around in admiration, her eyes wide with awe at the grandeur of the hotel.

Unbeknownst to her, Ethan was watching her with disdain, his lips curling in disapproval. Excitedly, she said, "This place looks amazing! I love it!"

“Let’s go inside,” Ethan said softly, then gently took her arm, guiding her toward the entrance. Together, they stepped into the opulent hall.

Jade looked around at the gathering crowd and the lavish decor, her enthusiasm bubbling over.

“Ethan, this looks so nice,” she exclaimed happily.

Though Ethan felt a flicker of disdain for her reaction, he forced a polite smile. “This won’t compare to our house in the future,” he replied.

Trusting his words, Jade nodded eagerly, grinning as she took in her surroundings.
