Chapter 30

Christian and Jera spend their first night on their new house. Matapos kumain ng hapunan ay sandali silang naglakad sa baybayin. Malamig ang hangin at nanunuot iyon sa kalamnan ni Jera. Inililipad din ng hangin ang mahaba niyang buhok. Umupo sila sa buhanginan and Christian hugged her as they talk.

“I still cannot believe that I wasted two years of our life because of my wrong assumptions. I’m sorry, Christian.” Wika ni Jera at hinalikan ang braso ng asawa na nakayakap sa kanya.

“Don’t think about it anymore, Jera. What matters here is that you’ve learn your lesson. You realized what love and trust really means. To love someone is to trust that person, Jera.  Loving is giving yourself completely to the person you love. No ifs and no buts.
