Alone?

I stood far from the feast, somewhere I had asked Joana to find earlier today. I waited rather impatiently for Godfrey, whom Joana had gone to summon.

The place was not so different from the place where I had first kissed Godfrey, it was by the lake. Although everywhere was dark, the moon was giving us light.

When I heard footsteps of someone running towards my direction, I turned around to see Godfrey, who paused when he saw me. Confusion was written all over his face, and I could tell that Joana had told him something that must have scared him.

She did say she had a good plan in mind.

“My Queen” he called and I hummed,

“Hey, Godfrey. Why were you running like that?” I asked. He frowned as he spoke,

“Luna, your personal maid had come to inform me that you were drowning,”

I raised my brow, “Did she?” A smirk appeared on my lips.

He looked confused, and I shrugged, “I wasn't drowning, but I can if that will get your attention” I winked at him
