NATHALIE’S POV

-

It was past ten at night and I arrived at my destination, at a bar.

After checking the time on my phone, it conveniently died because the battery was completely drained.

Luckily, before the battery ran out, I sent a text message to Esther thirty minutes ago and followed up with her. I would be home late.

I was planning to arrive here at seven or eight at night but because I got lost on the way here and had to use a digital map on my phone, I only arrived now.

On days like this, the person I was going to meet goes to this bar. It’s a classic bar yet large and spacious up to the third floor.

I just hope that person’s schedule hasn’t changed.

I was able to get inside the bar easily because of what I was wearing.

When I first entered here, with Joshua, I wasn’t immediately allowed in because I was wearing a simple shirt, a long skirt that went past my knees, and sneakers.
