"Congratulations!" The people who witnessed the proposal of a handsome man to his beautiful girlfriend shouted in unison.

That was a surprise, and yes the girl was surprised by the man's touching gesture of proposal. And the girl didn't hesitate anymore, she said yes to her fiance. They hugged tightly and happily exchanged I love yous.

"I will love you until I grow old, Mari." Andrei said with all his love and then kissed his girlfriend's forehead.

"I will love you too, Andrei!" Mari happily replied to her boyfriend.

And then the two of them faced their friends who were also very happy for them.

"We're officially engaged!" Andrei and Mari said in unison.

Their friends shouted again and congratulated Andrei and Mari again.

"Wow, where else can you find Andrei? He's so perfect, you won't find anyone like him!" Jeyah, Mari's best friend, said excitedly.

Mari smiled sweetly as she held Andrei's arm.

"He's genuine, one in a million guys in the world!" Mari replied proudly.

Andrei smiled shyly then winked at Mari. Of course, Mari was thrilled because her boyfriend was really handsome.

"Yes, he is! He doesn't even smoke, he's not a drunkard and above all, he's not a womanizer!" Jeyah teased.

"Hey, I'm not like that!" Harry, Jeyah's boyfriend, suddenly interjected.

Everyone laughed.

"What's wrong? Aside from what I mentioned, you're also jealous!" Jeyah's response was awkward when she looked at Harry.

"What you said is natural, Jeyah, except for one thing, being a womanizer. Cheating is a choice, not a mistake." Mari said while glancing at Andrei.

Andrei chuckled. "You're right, honey!"

"Before our heads get hot, let's eat and unwind. We'll go home tomorrow," Andrei said cheerfully to get the conversation about cheating out of the way.

Everyone immediately agreed and they ate. Then they continued their fun.

"Can we, sleep together?" Mari asked Andrei seductively after the fun.

Mari, drunk at that time but Andrei, controlled his drinking.

Andrei chuckled and shook his head. "No, honey! It's not time yet, I want to marry you as a virgin lady. Don't tease me please?"

Mari frowned.

"But we are now engaged, what's wrong with that?"

"Honey, listen to me okay? I want to keep your virginity until we get married. Even though I like what you're asking, I can't. I promise myself that I'll present you at the altar whole and clean." Andrei explained.

"Okay...okay! As usual, I'll always be the one to seduce you, just avoid going into passionate and deep kissing when we're doing it. Sometimes, I think you don't love me that much." There was a hint of resentment in Mari's voice.

Andrei gently pulled Mari into his arms and kissed her lover's hand.

"You are so precious to me, a love of my life. I respect you more than myself, that's how much I love you. And I don't want to ruin that just because of the call of the flesh, do you understand?" Andrei explained.

Mari had nothing else to do but hug Andrei.

"Sorry, I am so childish! Maybe it's because I've had too much alcohol again. I love you Honey, and thank you for your undying understanding."

"It's nothing, my dear. Common, I'll wipe you with warm water to wash away your drunkenness." Andrei replied sweetly and led Mari to her designated room.

Yes, how many times had Mari always seduced Andrei. But Andrei was firm in his temper, he was able to resist the temptation, something Mari admired in her boyfriend. Even with other women, Andrei is strong, which is why he is called the perfect boyfriend. Many people envied the relationship between Mari and Andrei, many have tried to break it up but no one succeeded.

The next day.

"Good morning, Honey!" Mari greeted Andrei while yawning.

Mari was too lazy to get up because her head was still a bit heavy and she still had a headache. But, they were all going home because they had just spent the night at the resort that Andrei rented. Where they had fun last night, so from being lovers, their relationship had leveled up and became future husband and wife.

"Good morning, Honey! Are you feeling okay?" Andrei greeted happily then kissed Mari's forehead.

Mari sat next to Andrei while leaning on his shoulder.

"My head still hurts, I think I drank too much last night." Mari moaned.

"If I hadn't stopped you, you must have been really drunk last night." Andrei laughed.

"I won't be able to do that when we become husband and wife. Of course, my status will be different at that time."

"That's why I always tell you Mari, drink moderately. Because your body will suffer too after you drink a lot," Andrei replied.

Mari stared at Andrei's face then she smiled sweetly. Then she lovingly touched her boyfriend's face.

"That's why I love you so much, Andrei. You're so sweet, caring and loving what can I ask for!" Mari said sweetly.

Andrei laughed.

"You're teasing me again, Mari. Drink your coffee now to get used to it. After that, we will be going to eat breakfast then go home." He said.

"Okay! Thank you, Honey!" Mari replied happily as she gave Andrei a kiss on the cheek.

Andrei laughed but at the same time was happy. Mari was so clingy and naughty that he liked her. Especially for being a workaholic and being determined in her work and in her dreams in life. They are both the same goal in life, same mindset maybe that's the reason why their relationship stays long and now they are engaged. Mari was Andrei's ideal woman, she's independent, open-minded and strong but sometimes has a childish attitude. But for Andrei, that's funny and cool ,he loves Mari the way she acts like that. Mari makes him laugh all the time so he never mind the words tired after they have fun. And maybe, their marriage status will be more work because they will still be together all the time, having unlimited bonding and making children to fill more happy in their home.
