Seraphina’s Perspective

The restricted area was eerily quiet. Too quiet. With each step I took, the silence felt heavier, like an invisible force pressing down on me. I clutched my torch tightly, the flickering light casting long, twisted shadows on the damp ground. The further I walked, the more unsettling everything became. Then, a sharp gust of wind rushed past me. A shiver ran down my spine. The trees here were ancient, gnarled, and twisted, their branches stretching out like clawed fingers, reaching for the sky. The bark was rough and cracked, almost burnt, like they had survived a great fire long ago. Thick vines wrapped around the trunks like ropes, suffocating them. The ground was wet, covered in stagnant water, making my boots sink slightly with every step. The narrow path was littered with sharp stones and pebbles, making it difficult to walk without tripping. The water rippled unnaturally, as if something was lurking beneath its surface. Then came the sounds.

A distant owl hooted, its cry echoing through the darkness, followed by the flapping of wings—bats. Their piercing screeches sent a cold dread through me, making my heart pound faster. Something about this place felt cursed. I forced myself to keep moving, but the deeper I went, the more I felt like I was being watched. Then— I stumbled. My foot caught against a jagged rock, and I lurched forward. My heart leapt into my throat, but I managed to catch myself before I could fall. I exhaled shakily, my pulse racing. That’s when I saw it. A few feet ahead of me, partially hidden between the roots of an enormous, rotting tree, was a staircase leading underground. I froze, my breath catching in my throat. What the hell? A staircase? In the middle of a haunted forest? It didn’t belong here.

Why was it here? Where did it lead? And more importantly—was this the reason the area was restricted? Every part of me screamed, turned around, and left now, but something else—curiosity—pushed me forward. I had to know.vI pulled my torch higher, took a deep breath, and stepped onto the first stone step. The second I did, the air around me felt thicker, heavier, as if I had just crossed an invisible barrier. My heart pounded so loudly I could hear it in my ears. Step by step, I descended. With every step, the forest noises faded away, replaced by an eerie silence that made my skin crawl. I didn’t know why, but my heart was racing. Something about this place felt... wrong. Then, at the bottom of the staircase, I saw it.

A massive underground dungeon. Flames burned fiercely in the iron torches attached to the damp stone walls, their flickering light casting ghostly shadows that danced in the darkness. The stone floor was cold beneath my feet, slightly wet from the moisture seeping through the cracks. The air was thick with the scent of ash, old iron, and something rotten. Cells lined the walls, their rusted bars bent and broken, as if something—or someone—had tried to break out. But the most terrifying part? It was completely empty. No people. No guards. No prisoners. Just silence. A chill crawled down my spine. I took a slow step forward, my boots clicking softly against the stone.

"Hello?" I called out, my voice barely above a whisper. Nothing. I swallowed hard, forcing myself to take another step. The torches flickered as I moved as if responding to my presence. I took another step, closer to one of the cells. I lifted my torch and aimed the light inside— And froze. My heart stopped. My breath hitched. My eyes widened in sheer horror.

"HOLY SHIT!" I gasped, stumbling back as my heart hammered in my chest. Because what I saw inside that cell... Should not exist, and then i saw it. A fucking werewolf… no. A fucking beast. A fucking monster. I froze, my breath catching in my throat. My heart slammed against my ribs so hard it hurt. I had seen supernatural creatures before—I had killed them before. But this… this was something else. It wasn’t just a werewolf. It wasn’t just a predator. It was a nightmare. Thick silver chains bound the beast’s massive limbs, wrapped tightly around its wrists, ankles, and neck, glowing faintly under the dim light. Silver burns were carved into its flesh, the scent of scorched fur lingering in the air. The chains rattled slightly as the creature twitched, its muscles flexing in pure rage. Its fur was as dark as the night itself, black as death, absorbing the faint light around it. The moonlight from the narrow cracks in the ceiling illuminated the beast just enough for me to see every terrifying detail. Its massive form dwarfed any werewolf I had ever seen before. And its eyes. Dark crimson red—deep, menacing, burning with pure hatred. I had never seen a wolf’s eyes like that before.

Not just one colour. As I watched, those eyes shifted—twisting between golden, icy blue, and back to blood-red, each colour glowing like embers in the dark. A shiver crawled down my spine. It snarled. A low, deep, guttural growl rumbled through the air, making the ground vibrate beneath my feet. The sound was dangerous, primal, a warning—a threat. I swallowed hard, my hands trembling. It’s been a long time since I’d seen a wolf. Whenever I hunted supernatural creatures, they were always in their human form. I had slaughtered countless of them, driven my silver dagger straight into their black hearts. But this?

I had never fought a beast before. And the worst part? It wasn’t just watching me. It wanted to kill me. The monster lunged forward, the chains snapping taut, keeping it in place. Its canines—long, sharp, lethal—glinted under the dim torchlight, saliva dripping from its fangs. Its nails—no, claws—were terrifyingly sharp, longer than any I had ever seen on a wolf. It shouldn’t be possible for a werewolf to be this... big, this feral, this unrestrained. It snapped its jaws, its growl deepening into something even more menacing. My stomach twisted.

It was trying to break free. The chains groaned under the pressure of its sheer strength, the silver glowing brighter as it burned into the beast’s skin. But the pain didn’t stop it. It didn’t care. It wanted me dead. My heartbeat thundered in my ears as I stumbled back, my instincts screaming at me to run. I didn’t have my weapons today. If I did, I would have killed this thing without a second thought. A silver dagger, a blade to the heart—that’s all it would take. This was a golden opportunity. The creature was chained, trapped, and completely vulnerable. If I had my weapons, I could have ended it right now.

But I came here unarmed. And that mistake could cost me my life. I took another step back, my eyes darting around the dungeon. It was too risky to stay here any longer. If the chains broke… if it escaped… No. I had to leave. I could always come back tomorrow. This monster wasn’t going anywhere. It was bound in silver chains, restrained, weakened. It wasn’t getting out. I turned on my heel, my heart still hammering in my chest. My voice was steady—cold, firm—but inside, I was rattled to my very core. "You're lucky I don’t have anything on me." My voice echoed in the silence, and the beast snarled in response. Its eyes blazed—furious, murderous. I smirked, though my pulse was still racing. "But when I come back tomorrow, you will regret it." The werewolf threw its head back, letting out a sound so vicious and primal that I felt it in my bones. I turned and ran. I didn’t stop. I didn’t look back. I sprinted out of the dungeon, my boots hitting the cold stone floor, my breath ragged. The second I reached the forest outside, I inhaled sharply, sucking in the crisp night air. I was safe. For now.

But tomorrow? Tomorrow, that beast would die.

Damien Perspective

The night was silent. Too silent. The forest stretched around me, dark and endless, the trees swaying gently under the cold wind. The full moon was about to rise, and I could already feel it—the pull, the raw energy surging through my veins. My body felt heavier, my senses sharper. Both my vampire and wolf side were restless, pushing against each other, fighting for dominance. I had to act fast. "Alpha, it’s time. I have installed all the chains in the dungeon." Ethan’s voice broke through my thoughts. My beta stood before me, his head bowed in respect, waiting for my command. I gave him a single nod, my gaze fixed on the dungeon entrance in front of me. The moment was near. "Alright, Ethan. Bind the chains around my neck and then leave the forest. You’re in charge of the packhouse tonight. Don’t let anyone come out. I don’t want my beast to hurt any of the pack members."

Ethan hesitated for a moment before nodding. "Yes, Alpha." Without another word, I stepped inside the dungeon, my footsteps echoing off the stone walls. The air was thick with the scent of damp earth, rusted metal, and something darker—a memory of past transformations, of pain, of destruction. As I walked past the cells, my eyes landed on the bent bars of one of them. This is a reminder of the last time I lost control. This is a reminder of what my beast was capable of. I clenched my jaw. Not tonight. Tonight, I would contain him. I took a deep breath and stripped off my clothes, letting the cold air bite at my skin. My body was already tense, my muscles coiled tight, as if preparing for what was coming. Ethan stepped forward, his gloved hands gripping the thick silver collar. "Alpha..." he hesitated.

"Do it. Now." He obeyed. The moment the silver touched my skin, a searing pain shot through me, burning like liquid fire. I let out a sharp grunt, my fists clenching as Ethan locked the collar around my neck. The silver hissed against my flesh, sending waves of agony through me. My wolf howled in my head, furious at the touch of the toxic metal. But I wasn’t done yet. Ethan took the silver chains and wrapped them around my wrists, my chest, my ankles. With every new chain, the pain intensified, my skin blistering, the metallic scent of burning flesh filling the air. I exhaled sharply, fighting back a snarl. I had to endure it. I had to control it. Because if I didn’t… There would be nothing left to stop me. "Alright, Ethan. Get out of here." Ethan gave me one last glance, concern flickering in his eyes, but he knew better than to argue. "See you tomorrow, Alpha," he said before disappearing up the stairs.

And then I was alone. I let out a slow, controlled breath, forcing my body to stay still despite the raging storm inside me. The silver was toxic, burning into my skin, weakening my werewolf side. But my vampire half? Untouched. That was the problem. I could feel Zyros—my beast—pushing against my mind, his hunger for power and destruction growing stronger with every second. The moon was almost at its peak. And I wasn’t sure if the chains would be enough. A sharp pain shot down my spine, and I gritted my teeth, my breath coming out ragged. My body convulsed, muscles tightening, bones snapping. My claws elongated, piercing my skin. My canines lengthened, sharp as daggers, my lips pulling back in a snarl. Zyros was waking up. I threw my head back, a snarl ripping through my throat as the transformation took hold.

Crack.

Crack.

CRACK.

Every bone in my body shifted, twisted, broke—only to reform stronger, deadlier. My chest expanded, my veins pulsing with raw power, my muscles thickening under my darkening skin. I felt my senses sharpen, my vision turning razor-sharp, catching every movement, every flicker of light. My ears picked up the faintest of sounds—the distant rustling of leaves, the heartbeat of a rabbit outside the dungeon.

And my strength… My strength was overwhelming. I let out a snarl, testing the chains, pulling against them just to feel the resistance. They strained, groaning under the force, but they held. For now. My claws curled into fists, my entire body coiled with tension, my breath coming out in harsh, guttural growls. The full moon rose above the forest. And in that moment, I lost myself. A deep, guttural roar tore from my throat, shaking the very walls of the dungeon. The chains rattled, burning into my skin as I thrashed, my mind slipping, drowning under the weight of my beast’s hunger. Zyros was out. And nothing could stop him.

A few hours later

The hours passed, but the hunger inside me only grew stronger. I could feel it—the restless energy surging through my veins, the power coiling beneath my skin, waiting to be unleashed. My hybrid nature demanded destruction, blood… "chaos.

Zyros was still awake, still hungry, and the silver chains that bound me did nothing to tame his rage. If anything, they only made him wilder. I clenched my jaw, feeling my fangs press against my lower lip. I needed to get out. I needed to hunt. Then, suddenly, A sound. Faint, but there. I went still, my entire body tensing as my vampire hearing picked up on something.....footsteps. Light, hesitant, yet deliberate. Someone was here. I growled lowly, my golden wolf eyes flashing in the darkness. Who the fuck had the audacity to come here? No one ever came to this part of the forest. Not unless they had a death wish. Zyros stirred , restless, eager. My wolf side was already on display, and my vampire instincts screamed for blood. Whoever was foolish enough to step into this dungeon wasn’t going to leave alive. The footsteps grew closer. I could hear them coming down the stairs—one step, then another, then another. I gritted my teeth, my claws twitching as I pulled at the chains. The silver burned, but I didn’t care. I would rip them apart. I would rip whoever this was apart. And then,  Zyros snarled in my mind, loud and urgent. "MATE!" he roared.

"MATE IS HERE!" I froze. My body went rigid, every instinct snapping to attention. What? No. That wasn’t possible. I inhaled sharply, and then....The scent hit me. My entire world tilted. Vanilla. Roses. It was the most intoxicating scent I had ever smelled. Sweet, delicate, yet powerful enough to make my head spin. The moment it filled my lungs, my vampire and wolf went wild. Mine. Mine. MINE. A soft, feminine voice echoed through the dungeon. "Hello? Is someone here?" My breath caught. The voice was like a melody, smooth and soft, yet filled with curiosity. It was the most beautiful sound I had ever heard. Then—light. A small torch flickered in front of me, and my eyes locked on the shadowed figure holding it. I couldn’t see her face—the darkness still veiled her features—but I didn’t need to. I knew. She was mine. My mate. My soulmate. My other half. My Luna. Something inside me snapped. The chains rattled violently as I lunged forward, but they held firm, burning into my skin, keeping me locked in place. I snarled in fury, my body shifting uncontrollably—my golden werewolf orbs flickering, then my dark crimson vampire eyes, then my usual blue human gaze. I couldn’t stop it. I wanted to mark her. I wanted to claim her. I wanted to see her.

And fuck, I wanted her to bear my marks.....one from my vampire, one from my wolf. But those damn chains kept me from reaching her. I cursed Ethan for binding me so tightly. If I ever got out of these chains, I was going to make him suffer for this. I could hear her heartbeat now—wild, erratic, fast. She was scared. Or maybe.... She felt it, too. But if she felt, then why was she not coming towards me. The pull. The bond. The undeniable connection that tied our souls together. My fangs ached as I inhaled again, my body trembling from the sheer force of my instincts screaming at me to take what was mine. But before I could say anything, her voice echoed through the dungeon again.... "You're lucky I don’t have anything on me. But when I come back tomorrow, you will regret it." Then, she ran. She fucking ran.  I snapped. A feral roar ripped from my throat as I thrashed against the chains, yanking, pulling, trying to break free. My wolf and vampire side were both losing control, the hunger to chase her, overwhelming every rational thought.

How fucking dare she run from me?

How fucking dare she leave? She was supposed to come closer.

She was supposed to fall into my arms, surrender to me, accept me.

But instead—she left. She fucking left. I growled again, my eyes flashing dangerously as I pulled harder against the chains, the silver biting into my flesh, making my skin bleed. And what the fuck did she mean by that? "I don’t have anything on me." What the hell was she planning to do? My wolf was fucking livid, and Zyros was snarling non-stop. "SHE RAN! SHE FUCKING RAN FROM US! SHE BELONGS HERE! SHE BELONGS TO US!" Zyros growled . I let out a low, dark chuckle, my lips twisting into a smirk.

"Dont worry, zyros. She said she would come back tomorrow." Good. She could run all she wanted.

But tomorrow.... She would regret it.

  • MY HYBRID MATE   EPILOGUE

Seraphina’s Perspective The night air was cool, but my body felt like it was on fire. As soon as the ceremony ended, Zach didn’t wait a second. He guided me to the car, his hand never leaving mine, his eyes filled with so much hunger and love that my heart fluttered. The moment the driver pulled up in front of his penthouse, Zach was out of the car and around to my side in seconds. Before I could even step out, he scooped me up in his arms bridal style. I gasped.“Zach!” I laughed softly, wrapping my arms around his neck. “Calm down.” He didn’t listen. He kicked the car door shut with his foot and began walking toward the elevator. “I’ve been calm for months, ma chérie,” he murmured, “but not tonight.” My cheeks turned red. I felt the heat in his voice, the tension in his body as he held me close. The elevator ride up was silent—but intense. His eyes didn’t leave mine once, and I could feel my heartbeat in my throat. The moment the elevator doors opened to the private penthouse floor

Seraphina’s PerspectiveSix Months Later“Seraphina, are you ready for your Luna oath ceremony?” Charlotte’s cheerful voice rang through the room as she entered. I looked up from the mirror, smiling softly. “Yeah, just give me ten minutes. I’ll take a quick shower, and then you can help me get ready.”“Come on, girl! Chop chop, we don’t have enough time. Alpha will be here soon!” Ashley added as she stepped in behind Charlotte, grinning with excitement. I nodded and grabbed my towel before walking toward the bathroom. My heart was calm, but my mind was racing. As I closed the bathroom door behind me, I let out a slow breath. The moment the door clicked shut, it felt like the rest of the world paused for a second. I slowly undressed, letting my gown fall to the floor, and stepped into the shower. The warm water hit my skin, washing over my body like a gentle hug. I closed my eyes, tilted my head back, and let the water cascade over me. And in that quiet moment, memories flooded in. It

Seraphina’s PerspectiveIs he seriously asking me to remove my shirt… in front of everyone? My breath hitched as I stood there frozen, trying to understand the rage burning in Zach’s eyes. No, not Zach—Onyx. His wolf was in control now. Those glowing hazel eyes weren’t soft or human. They were wild, bloodthirsty, and possessive. And they were glaring at me like I was still marked by the enemy. I looked down at myself. It’s not like I had anything to hide. My body was fully covered in white bandages. The medics had wrapped me up to stop the bleeding and protect the open wounds. Even if I took off this shirt—Damien’s shirt, I wouldn’t be naked. But still… something about the way Onyx demanded it made a cold shiver run down my spine. His eyes—sharp, glowing, deadly—were still filled with rage. The battlefield was silent now except for the distant screams from Damien’s castle, where Zach’s warriors were finishing what he started. The war was over. Blood was spilt. Death was everywhere. Bu

Seraphina's PerspectiveI screamed as I hit the ground with full force, my knees scraping against the wet mud. Pain shot through my body, making my vision blur for a second. The storm above us was wild, like nature itself reacting to the chaos around. Thunder cracked through the sky, and heavy rain poured down on us like bullets. Everything had changed in a second. The moment Zach broke the barrier... it was like war had been declared. I could hear the howls of wolves, the roars, the growls. The sound of bodies crashing into each other filled the night as Zach's warriors clashed with Damien's pack. Screams echoed in the air, blood painted the soil, and the ground had truly become a battlefield. But I wasn't looking at any of that. All I could see... was him. Zach. My Zach. He was standing tall in the middle of the chaos, but something was wrong. I couldn't feel him through the bond the way I used to. It was like... he wasn't fully there. He was still focused entirely on Damien, who ha

Damien’s Perspective"My, my… look how the tables have turned," I muttered with a smug smirk stretching across my face as I stepped out of my castle. The air was thick with tension, the kind that sent a thrill down my spine. War was in the air—and I loved it. My boots crunched against the gravel path as I strode toward the edge of my territory. The spell I had asked the witches to place shimmered faintly in the air, creating an invisible barrier that not even a hybrid could cross. And there he was. Zach. Standing at my border with his entire army behind him. His shoulders were tense, jaw clenched, eyes full of fire. The bastard looked ready to tear through the world. I chuckled and took a few more steps closer to the barrier, hands in my coat pockets, just close enough so he could hear me clearly. "What? Can’t take the next step?" I mocked. Zach's body flinched at my words. "Fucking coward," he growled, eyes glowing. "Remove this fucking barrier!""Calling me a coward, Zach?" I raised

Seraphina's PerspectiveA few days later…“Luna, we are here to change your bandages,” one of the maids said gently, bowing down as she entered the room with another maid beside her. I simply nodded, not having the energy to say a word. I was sitting on the bed, my back resting against the cold wooden bedpost, a thin blanket covering my lower body. My shirt was loose and damp with sweat, sticking to my skin uncomfortably. I knew this part of the day would come—again—and I braced myself for the pain. The maids moved quietly, placing a small tray of clean bandages, herbs, and warm water on the table nearby. They always came in pairs. One would help hold me still while the other cleaned the wounds. One of them stepped closer and carefully reached for the hem of my shirt. “May I, Luna?” she asked softly, her eyes not meeting mine. I nodded again, biting the inside of my cheek as I lifted my arms slowly, flinching slightly. My muscles were stiff, sore, and weak. The moment her hands touch
