CHAPTER 26: NO REPLY

In the evening, everything was in place according to Mike's preference. He loved the way the florist and Ivana had made a small venue, just the way he had wanted. The only fear he had was, if, Milka will love it. Even though he knew that they love each other, he still didn't know the answer to the question he would be popping out.

Ivana had prepared his sons, mother, and John mentally about what was going to happen. She asked them to keep it a secret until it happens.

So, John left to go pick Milka and the girls from the mall, earlier on she had communicated to Ivana that they won't be coming home at noon. She didn't tell Ivana the reason, but Ivana had already figured out that Mike was the reason. He hadn't called her since that day he left, without talking much to Milka.

They had intended to keep her speculating and angry or upset.
