CHAPTER 130

SELENA'S POV

As they got closer, I recognized them.

It was Alexa and the other pack fighters.

They were walking towards the pack house, and they were all okay.

I felt a wave of relief wash over me, and I rushed to open the door.

I looked around for Alpha Duncan, but he was nowhere to be seen.

Alexa walked up to me with a sad expression.

I looked at him and asked.

“Where's Alpha Duncan....?"

He sighed...

“We.... Um.... we...lost...him...." He stammered as tears rolled down his eyes.

I felt like my heart had stopped beating. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. I felt like the world was crashing down around me. I reached out and grabbed Alexa’s arm, shaking my head.

“No…” I whispered. “No, that can’t be true. It’s not true.”

But Alexa just looked at me with a sad smile. “I’m so sorry. I know this is hard, but it’s true.”

I felt like I was going to collapse.

I felt like my entire world had crumbled.

I had lost the man I loved, the man I was going to spend the rest of my life with.
