MasukCHAPTER 2{..HELLO SEXY MAFIA..}
The water was still in my lungs.
I stood in the guest wing bathroom, dripping on the marble, watching my mascara carve black rivers down my face. The black bridesmaid dress was a drowned heap on the floor.
Vanessa’s “Oops” still rang in my ears. Justin’s back still turned.
I was supposed to break. Cry. Beg.
I didn’t.
I stepped into the shower and turned it on. Washed my face. The makeup. The wedding.
Under the dripping water, my mind was drafting how I’d destroy all my enemies and make them pay.
My jaw ached. I’d been grinding my teeth since the pool.
After showering I walked out in a towel, put on my night robe.
I lay on the bed, head to the ceiling. Smirked.
Tomorrow the game begins.
-
THE NEXT DAY
I stood at the door. Listening.
Vanessa was fixing Justin’s tie. “Babe, you look so hot right now,” she said, smiling. Justin smirked.
“Of course I’m hot. Why wouldn’t I be?” His eyes shone with nothing but arrogance.
Vanessa finished and checked herself in the mirror. It was Sixth time she checked herself.
“You look beautiful. Can you stop looking at yourself?” Justin said.
Vanessa pouted, facing him. “Am I more beautiful than that ugly Lisa, right?”
“Wait, do you even have to compare yourself with her? Babe, you are ten times more beautiful than that frog.”
Vanessa kissed him. “You’re the best.”
They never knew I was listening. I could hear their breaths.
Their conversation made me scoff."A frog? Me?
Yunno what ,let them think I am , I'll make sure I get the last laugh.
"Cute".
_[GYM – 4PM]_
I hit the punching bag until my knuckles bled through the tape.
Six months ago I sold the diamond studs Justin gave me and bought kickboxing lessons. He said women who hit things don’t get houses. Jokes on him.
I came here when the rage got too loud.
Some people were laughing at me because of the trending video of me falling in the pool. Some were pointing.
Let them laugh. Laughter means views. Views mean witnesses.
Witnesses mean everyone will see the fall.
I'll make sure to make their fall ,more sweeter than orange juice .
I toweled off, yanked on leather—jacket, pants, boots—and shoved on my shades. All black. All armor.
I was done being invisible.
[GYM PARKING LOT]
My bike. Matte black. Illegal. Paid for by selling the diamond earrings Justin gave me when he was playing saint. The ones I never wore.
Just then I heard ringing and guess who it was from.
My mother in-law, Lisa saved her as EVIL-DEMON but only because Stonia saved her as trashalisa.
She clicked green and her voice sounded."Listen here you useless excuse of a nobody, get your a-ss here right now, Cyrus hates late comers!!!"
"Affirmative............. Mother-in-law."
I swung my leg over. The engine roared, drowning out the whispers from the gym door.
I wasn’t allowed family cars.
This wasn’t a family asset. This was mine.
Wind tore my hair loose. For ten seconds, I drove reckless and felt free.
Then a Rolls-Royce ran the stop sign and nearly took my front wheel off.
I braked. Hard.
The Rolls stopped dead.
I was off the bike before I could think. Rage was better than humiliation. Rage had teeth.
The driver jumped out, pale. “Ma’am, I—I’m so sorry, I didn’t—”
“You what?” I snapped, yanking my shades down just enough to glare at him over the rims. “You didn’t see me at all because you were too busy kissing your boss’s ass?”
“I—I can give you money if you—” He fumbled for his wallet.
I laughed. It wasn’t nice. “You think I can be bought?”
I diverted my eyes to the car. All I could see was a shadow through the black windows.
Who the fuck was inside?
I swear, whoever it was, they were staring at my soul.
I clicked my tongue, shot that useless driver a look that could gut him, and swung back onto my bike.
I might be tagged as useless, but I’m not as useless as he is.
_[KING FAMILY MANSION – DINING ROOM]_
I walked in without knocking.
I felt a different aura, so I headed to the dining room. There they were. Sitting. Eating.
The room went dead silent.
Stonia’s fork froze mid-air. Justin’s smirk died. Vanessa choked on her food.
For two years I’d worn apologies. Silence.
They were used to flip-flops and a cheap dress.
Not today.
My shades hid my eyes, but not my smirk.
“Do you know what time it is?!” Stonia recovered first. “You useless—”
I walked past her. Past Justin like he was a chair. Past Vanessa like she was a stain I’d already cleaned.
I stopped beside him.
Cyrus.
I could smell the danger. They don’t lie when they say his aura carries dominance.
“My name is Lisa Armando,” I said. Clear. Loud. My hand out.
“How DARE you ignore my mother!” Justin slammed the table. “Greet your HUSBAND first!”
Stonia’s fork flew. The witch aimed for my eye.
I caught it. Left hand. Didn’t flinch. Didn’t look. Her gaze was focused on Cyrus
The room gasped.
Slowly, Cyrus stood.
He turned. Finally.
His eyes held nothing but darkness. His cold expression met my bitchy one.
I dropped the fork on the table.
Pulled my shades off. Slow. One inch at a time.
My hand was still out.
He studied it. Then me. Something cruel and pleased curled his mouth.
He took it.
Our handshake wasn’t polite. It was a merger. Two empires, signed in blood
.
“Cyrus King,” he said. His voice was frost.
Every were shocked, cause Cyrus never obeys.
I leaned in. Close enough to smell his aura and Tom Ford. Low enough that only the devil and him could hear me:
“Well, hello… sexy mafia.”

---CHAPTER 8* I WANT MY BROTHERS WIFE CYRUSMy eye twitched. Not from happiness. Not from excitement. From rage.Beth stood at my door with that smile plastered on her face. The kind of smile that haunted my nightmares.I glanced at Lisa. She looked untouched. Innocent. Like she’d never ruined my morning. Like she wasn’t the predator in the room.Damn.She loved provoking me.No woman had ever turned me on like this. Especially not my brother’s wife.Lisa walked toward the door. Beth’s glare followed her. If looks could kill, my little kitten would be dead already.“Aren’t you tired of trying to flatter everyone?” Beth snapped. “No one likes you, and no one ever will. So stop trying.”Lisa didn’t even turn around.“I don’t have to try for attention,” she replied, voice calm and cutting. “But if you’re desperate for it, I don’t mind giving you some—once you lose that ego of yours.”I smirked. So the wolf I’d been waiting years to see was finally showing her teeth.“Oh, before I forg
---CHAPTER 9 BETH’S POVA smile curled on my lips as I walked out of the gigantic glass building. The sun hit my face, warm and perfect. Today marked the start of something beautiful. With me inside that building now, Cyrus would be mine. It was only a matter of time before I got rid of Lisa somehow Permanently. The fact that she’d grown fangs lately was driving me insane. First it was the dinner stunt. Then she defied my mother’s orders like they meant nothing. And now she was Cyrus’s PA? No. I wouldn’t let it stand.Becoming the secretary was the best thing that could’ve happened to me. I’d be close to him every single day. I’d seduce him slowly, carefully, until he couldn’t see anyone but me. So what if he was my brother? It was only legal. Blood didn’t mean anything when it came to possession.Just then my driver pulled up, and I slid into the backseat of the car. Leather seats, tinted windows, and the smell of cologne and power.“Driver, take me home,” I ordered, my voice sha
CHAPTER 7 (..almost caught...)LISA'SHis words hung in the air, and that made me smirk. Isn't it touching? I mean, I actually get to see his reaction. He looks like he meant every damn word.Well, too bad, because it's just way too late.I looked at Justin, who was breathing hard but still refusing to look away from Cyrus."What's that supposed to mean? I think maybe you just lost your senses," Cyrus said.Cyrus's voice echoed, dark and very malicious. I believe that this day has turned out to be the most interesting day."I think I just heard myself. I'm not letting her go to work. She is supposed to stay here to take care of me and perform house duties as a wife," Justin spoke, and my eye twitched.Seriously? Me, a housewife, to serve him? That was years ago. Right now, I'll do whatever I want."Babe, I think you should sit down. I'll make you feel better. She is not worthy of you," Vanessa added.I looked at Mr. King. He only ate his food. What I really love about him is the way h
CHAPTER 6*LISA POV*His eyes shone with darkness, and that was perfect. Somehow, I liked the turn of things. He stood from his chair, and in seconds he was towering over me.He caged me in, and I must say I felt a thrill like never before.“What? Are you trying to restrain me? Huh. Are you somehow afraid?” I teased.Every word I spoke was slow, patient, and well calculated.“Fuck you, Lisa. I’m not restraining anything, Lisa. I’m only trying to be kind enough to actually save you from what I’ll do to you,” he whispered close.I could sense the devil in him.I could feel his voice, hoarse and commanding.“Who said anything about saving? We both know one thing: when I want something, I get it. And if it means having to fight for it, then so be it.”I didn’t utter a word. He let go of the wall, and I saw him get up, smirking. His eyes shone with thrill too.“Look at you, Lisa. Huh, from hiding your eyes from me, to actually facing me, and to top it all off, you even know what you want,”
CHAPTER 5CYRUSShe actually came.I heard the door before I saw her. That soft click I was already addicted to. The one that meant she wasn’t running.I didn’t turn around. Kept my back to her, staring out the study window. The estate was dark. The garden lights made the hedges look like teeth. My reflection in the glass was a stranger. Jaw tight. Knuckles white around a whiskey glass I hadn’t touched in ten minutes.“Put your phone on the desk. Now.”My voice came out low. Flat. The voice I used when I was dismantling companies and men. The voice that made CFOs forget how to breathe.I heard her inhale. Sharp. Startled.Good. She should be.“Excuse me?”Did she just say that to me ? I turned. Slow. Controlled. Every movement was a choice. She was still in the robe. Wearing slippers. Hair still damp. But her chin was up. That new defiance was back in her eyes. The one that had poured wine on me and dared me to flinch.“You heard me.” I nodded to the black glass desk. “Phone on the D
CHAPTER 4(.. He burns.._CYRUS_I left her room. I plan to teach her a lesson at my own time.Didn’t slam the door. Didn’t look back. That’s for men who need an audience. Devils leave quietly. The damage screams The latch clicked. Soft. Final. Like a verdict. My hands were fists before I even hit the hallway. Jaw locked so tight my teeth hurt. That room still clung to me. Soap. Heat. Something clean in a house built on rot. And her voice. “Oh please, teach me a lesson, Cyrus.”Christ.She said it like she meant it. Like she wanted me to call her bluff. Like she knew exactly what she was doing to me.I hated that she was right. The hallway was long and dark. Portraits of dead Hales lined the walls, all of them watching. Judging. My great-grandfather with his war medals. My grandfather with his cold eyes. My father, younger, but already carved from the same stone. I took the stairs two at a time. Needed distance. Needed air that didn’t have her name in it.My study was on the third f
