Lorenzo left early this morning, leaving me alone in the house once more. I was glad that he was gone after my embarrassing period episode last night. I was still too shaken up after the whole ordeal, I couldn't face him.

Women in my country were taught to keep our menstruation a secret. No one was allowed to know about it, it was something shameful, something to hide, and telling my kidnapper about it felt all kinds of wrong.

Lorenzo had someone come in to set up the coffee machine and there was now a mini bar in the living room. I was grateful because I know being kidnapped can be way too much worse than this. I had it better, I know.

He didn't rape me, or force me to do anything. He even listened to me about my food choices, I don't think any kidnapper would be this nice to anyone.

I sighed, now I'm praising my kidnapper. I think I'm going crazy.
