65| His Son

Amaira's POV

My feet reached out for the ground to maintain the balance when someone grabbed them from behind, restraining them from moving unnecessarily. When I turned around, Austin was holding the hammock for me.

He looked me in the eyes for a moment before moving to the other side of the hammock. I took a big breath and looked forward. I wasn't in a mood to talk to him or anyone and maybe he also understood this. He was also silent for five minutes but after that, he decided to break the silence. I believe earlier he was not getting how to initiate the conversation.

"So you got to know everything about your father?" His question drew my attention to him and I tilted my head to face him.

I simply nodded my head.

"I know you are depressed, and even though you didn't want that baby, you blame yourself for its death. Am I correct?" I turned away from him as he asked me more questions and I wasn't in a position to answer him.

how is it she suppose to be such a good heart but can't read between the lines with Dominic? to see the trickery of Austin. Who says he loves his family but keeps flurting with his brothers girlfriend even to the point that he is happy she lost the baby.
