Thirty nine: At the beach

The beach breeze blew the air to my face making me shut my eyes a little. I should have brought a pair of glasses. I mean who went to beaches without one?

We had arrived at the beach, apparently where Saint said we were supposed to be and I was glad I had worn a comfortable dress. Saint had suggested a hat to go with it and reluctantly, I took one with me.

I stretched my legs out as I sat on the deck chair watching the scenery in front of me. The beach was not crowdy today and the view in front was a nice one. I sat beside Saint whom I noticed kept on stealing glances at me. He hadn't brought up the matter from the previous day or why he was acting up but he looked less angry and more relaxed. And I was not going to speak about it if he wasn't going to.

Saint's men stood beside and behind us while Alessandro stood far in front, his hands in his pockets as he stared into the space.
