Thirty three: A win

We sat across from each other and I turned around once more to look around the empty restaurant and back at him.

"You mean you reserved the whole place?" I asked him finally.

He looked amused as he watched me. "Yeah."

I looked around again. "Why?"

"You're with me. Thought it would make you comfortable. And also I don't want to put you in danger again." He replied.

He was doing all this for me?

"You don't do it normally?" I asked to confirm if he was.

"Why wouldn't I?" He replied with a slightly raised eyebrow. "I don't like eating or shopping in crowded places either."

Of course, he wasn't doing it for me. What was I thinking? This was his normal life and I was the one who wasn't used to it.

"You did that at your aunt's boutique too?" I asked finally realizing why the place was empty the two times I'd been there.

He nodded nonchalantly.

This man left me speechless.

His sharp jawline attractively came to view as he turned to signal the waiter that we were ready to order. One
