"Alpha...Beta..."

"What's the matter, Gamma?" Alpha Marcus asked.

"Alpha, you need to see this." Gamma Chris answered.

"What is it?"

Gamma Chris instructed a warrior to get what he was talking about. A black cloth filled with something was placed in front of Alpha Marcus. Gamma Chris opened it. It was a corpse. A human corpse.

"Where did get it?" Beta Miguel asked.

"We've accidentally seen this corpse near a cave on the south side of the mountain." Gamma Chris said. "I got curious upon seeing it. But right now, what's bothering me was how this human died."

"Why? Did you find some flaws in it?" Alpha Marcus asked.

"Yes, Alpha." Gamma Chris answered. "I find it a little strange. The corpse's body was all intact except these unique markings and this mark on her neck."

"That mark on her neck?" Beta Miguel pointed his index finger at the corpse's neck. "Is it a mate mark?"

"I don't think so, Beta." Gamma Chris answered.
