They paced up and down the living room.

“Did you find her?” Michelle asked when her son returned.

Jace shook his head.

“Someone has to go tell Ava” she sighed and walked out the door.

“I'll come with you” Jace said walking behind.

“What do mean my daughter's gone?” Ava asked, taking off her garden gloves.

“Something's wrong with her” Jace said.

“No one is going to stop me from dealing with her when I find her!” Morgan screamed, marching towards the house.

Ava turned and frowned at her daughter.

“You went swimming with your clothes on?”

“No, that stupid little girl tried to freeze me to death and I am definitely going to kill her when she gets back!” Montana exclaimed.

“She what?” Fred asked.

Michelle nodded.

“It's true, we were all there” she said.

“We think it's her wolf” Jace sighed, treading his hands through his hair in frustration. “We need to find her before she seriously hurts someone.”
