Lena sat stiffly in the heavy chair at the dining table, her gown tugged at her ribs with every breath she took, making her feel trapped. The room was warm and comfortable, the smell of roasted meat filled the air, and the wine she was drinking was clearly expensive, but she felt nothing. Just emptiness. Her skin pricked and her body still felt fatigued even after the antidote Annie had given to her, though her mind was becoming clearer by the second.

The three women sat opposite her, they had done nothing but stare since she had taken her seat at the table,, the silence was becoming heavier as the seconds ticked by.

The one in blue spoke first, dark curls framed her face and made her brown eyes look harsh, she leaned towards her with her eyebrow raised in amusement. "So. You're the new one are you?" She sneered "Pretty face, but don't be fooled young one, you may be heir to Steeleclaw, but you are no better than us".
