Katrina's POV

His eyes darkened like a thunderstorm had just rolled into them, and his mouth was tight with frustration. His jaw clenched so hard I could see the muscle twitch.

“Angie,” he said sharply. “Apologize.”

My breath caught in my throat.

Did he just say…?

I stared at him, my eyes wide. Angie looked shocked too. Her eyes went big for a second, and she looked at him like she couldn’t believe what she was hearing. She opened her mouth like she wanted to argue, but stopped herself when she saw the look he was giving her. It was cold. Alpha-like. And it shut her right up.

She turned to me slowly, dragging her eyes like it physically hurt her to look at me.

“I’m sorry,” she said stiffly, like the words burned her tongue. “For hitting you in dodgeball.”

It didn’t sound real. It didn’t sound like she meant it. But the fact that she had to say it at all made my heart beat faster.

I blinked at her, not sure what to say. No one had ever made Angie apologize before. Not to me. Not ever.

that is a lot of description and inner monolog in both chapters to equal a forced 1 sentence apology.. he painted a target on her back.. cut him loose.. weak alpha and over emotional luna won't work

  • Marked By Fate: The Alpha Who Loved Me   EPILOGUE

Kat’s POVThree years laterI must have stared at the pregnancy test for what felt like forever. Maybe a minute. Maybe longer. I didn’t even blink. My whole body had gone still except for my hand, which shook so hard the little plastic stick kept tapping against my palm. It made these tiny clicking sounds that somehow made everything feel even more unreal.I kept waiting for the line to fade… or disappear… or do something that would tell me I was imagining it. But it didn’t. It stayed right there. A small pink line—bright, sharp, and impossible to ignore.Positive.My breath came out in a soft, shaky rush. I pressed my free hand against my stomach without even thinking. It felt just like it always did—flat, warm, normal. But knowing something new might be growing inside me made this weird, fluttery feeling spread across my chest, like tiny wings beating under my ribs.My eyes started to sting, and for a second I thought I might cry. Not from sadness… just from this heavy mix of surpris

Kat’s POVMonths later…Everything I had been excited about, scared about, dreaming about—suddenly it was all happening at once. And it was happening fast. The moment the pain hit, it felt like someone grabbed my whole body and squeezed it from the inside. I screamed, clutching the sheets, trying to catch my breath. Sweat rolled down my face even though the room was cool. My hair stuck to my cheeks, my back, everywhere.Nurses rushed around me, adjusting things, checking machines. The doctor kept telling me I was doing great, but I didn’t feel great. I felt like I was being split in half.Liam never left my side. He stood right by the bed, his hand in mine. He looked calm on the outside, but I could see the panic hiding behind his eyes. His jaw was clenched so hard a vein popped out near his neck.Another contraction slammed into me and I screamed so loud my throat burned. I squeezed Liam’s hand with all my strength—maybe too much, because he winced but didn’t pull away. When the next

Kat’s POVBefore I could even ask who she was, she spotted Liam and me standing together. Her eyes widened, and she ran straight toward us. I stiffened a little, unsure, but Liam’s face lit up in a way I didn’t see often. His whole expression softened. He opened his arms wide, and she practically threw herself into his chest. He hugged her tightly, like he had been waiting a long time for this moment. I watched them, feeling a tiny pinch of confusion and curiosity. They pulled apart after a while, smiling at each other, and then she turned to me so fast it startled me. She wrapped her arms around me, pulling me into a warm, excited hug.I froze for a second, surprised by how familiar she acted, but then slowly hugged her back.Liam stepped closer, his hand resting lightly on my lower back as he said, “Katrina, this is my sister… Amara.”My eyes widened. His sister. I had imagined her being older, or maybe more intimidating, but the young woman in front of me looked bright and kind, wi

  • Marked By Fate: The Alpha Who Loved Me   CHAPTER 213

Kat’s POVWhen we stepped outside, I was taken aback for a second. The training ground had been completely transformed. Fairy lights hung from tree branches, glowing softly like tiny stars. Long tables were covered with food and drinks, and laughter drifted through the crowd. The smell of roasted meat and fresh bread filled the air. My heart swelled when I saw all the familiar faces—people smiling, waving, calling my name.As soon as we entered, everyone turned toward us. The pack members bowed respectfully, their eyes warm and full of affection. It made me tear up a little. For so long, I’d felt like an outsider here, but now… it truly felt like home. Then I spotted Angie. She was standing near one of the tables, looking nervous, her hands fidgeting. I hadn’t seen her since that horrible day—the day she ruined my marking ceremony and her brother, Beta Johnson, had to drag her away. She looked different now, softer somehow. When our eyes met, she hesitated for a moment before walking

Kat’s POVHe stood, still holding me like I weighed nothing. My arms went around his neck automatically, and I felt the gentle rumble of his chuckle against my chest. The walk to the bathroom was quiet, except for the sound of our breathing and the faint creak of the floor. When he pushed the door open, the room filled with soft light from the lantern above the mirror. It was warm and golden, and everything felt softer, quieter.Liam turned on the shower, and steam slowly filled the room, curling around us like a mist. I stood there for a second, watching him as he tested the water. He looked tired—there were faint shadows under his eyes—but he still looked beautiful. Strong. Real. Mine.He came over to me and brushed a strand of hair out of my face. “You sure you’re okay?” he asked softly. I nodded, smiling a little. “I’m fine now,” I said. “As long as you’re with me.”His lips curved into a small smile before he helped me into the shower. The warm water hit my skin, and I sighed, cl
