Aiden Pov

The journey to the neighboring pack was taking too long. I kept hitting the horse as fast as I could to get there quickly. I held the reins so tight that it made my knuckles get white. Rose’s face kept appearing in my head. The last time I saw her, she looked at me with so much pain and fear. I just kept reassuring myself that we would get the necklace. We had to because this was just the only chance we had to set her free.

When we arrived, my heart was pounding so fast. Fred was also breathing heavily. But we didn’t relax there, we got down immediately and headed on. When we were about to enter the booth, I spotted the exact silver necklace on display. "Fred, come look at this," I called out, my voice tight with surprise.
