Scratched by her claws

Blinking her eyes open, she stared at the white ceiling while groaning.

The beeping sound of the electrocardiographic heart monitor made her groan while her eyelids felt too heavy to be left open, and the sun rays which were peeking into the room worsened the situation.

Remembering what had happened before she passed out, she sat up abruptly.

"Ouch…" she grunts as she feels a throbbing headache deep within her head.

She was about climbing down the bed, but the voices of people she heard behind the door made her lie motionless as she pretended to be asleep.

"She lost a lot of blood from the fight she got engaged in, but we are so fortunate that you arrived quickly before she could have been hit by the truck."
