Not wanting to accept her Fate, Annabelle tried fleeing but was caught. Being abducted by werewolves wasn't what she had expected when going into the woods. Rejecting and being Marked by an animal was what she never believed would happen. Wondering how she could be marked by her already rejected mate, she tried all she could in order to make him detest her and send her away, but instead of sending her back home he sent her to the Pack house where she started a new life with Emily the Beta's mate. But staying away from her mate after being marked has its problems, and was she ready to bear it? What happens when she tries getting away but ended up getting abducted again by another pack of werewolves who were the rivals of the blue sea pack.

Scowling at the house as though she had an issue with it, she turned and walked away with a huff.
She wasn't in support of her dad's choice of house because everything about the house was so old fashioned and worn-out.
After the death of her mum, she was left with no choice than to live with her dad.
She had lived with her mum throughout her childhood due to the reason that her dad was a drug addict.
Well, he was still a drug addict, but him being a drug addict doesn't mean she is being mistreated by him.
Though she couldn't say that he was a bad dad because he always apologises for hurting her in his drunken state.
Their house was located close to the woods, immediately you step out of the entrance leading to the backyard, you are already in the woods.
And besides, the woods is no ordinary place, it is often shadowy, dark and chilly, always giving out strange vibes.
Usually, strange noises could be heard in the woods and when she got tired of hearing them and decided to let her dad know about it, she was welcomed by a bottle flying towards her direction which she was quick to evade by ducking it.
That was a normal thing for her because she had already been acquitted to it as her dad usually does that to her in his drunken state but frequently apologises when he goes back to his senses.
She could get acquitted to whatever her dad does to her but not those weird noises she hears in the woods, they always made her freak-out.
She has always had a bad feeling for the woods, no matter how good looking or comfortable it may look, it was a wolf in sheep's clothing, and besides, it doesn't look as a comfortable place either.
Whenever she sits on her balcony to take a breather from studying, she would always have the feeling of being watched by something dangerous, just like a time bomb waiting to explode.

Walking through the hallway with her head bent low as she glared at the floor due to the stares she was receiving from other students, she accidentally bumped into Mirabelle who hissed immediately their bodies collided.
"I'm sorry," she was quick to say as she walked past her.
It was completely obvious to her that Mirabelle had been attempting to pick up a fight with her, and she had been making efforts to avoid it until now that she had bumped into her.
"You!" Mirabelle said in an offensive tone as she pulled Annabelle back with her hair.
"Are you a blind bitch!" she yelled at Annabelle who only stared back at her with no emotions visible in her eyes.
After some moments passed with no one saying a single word, Annabelle then asked, "Are you done talking? Honestly I didn't expect you to be someone with few words," Annabelle said with a huff.
"Don't talk to me in such a manner!" Mirabelle yelled aggressively as she stared disdainfully at her.
"What if I do?" Annabelle asked with raised eyebrows.
"Then I'll send your fucking father to jail," Mirabelle threatened with her hands placed on her hips.
"Seriously, what charges do you have against him?" Annabelle asked in a boring tone.
Doesn't she have something else to use against her.
"He is a notorious drug addict," Mirabelle replied with her hands still placed on her hips.
"Do whatever you want because that's not my fucking business," Annabelle said with a shrug before turning to walk away.
"You know what? your mum was a fucking bitch that was why she had died brutally and earlier than she was supposed to," Mirabella said which made the other students around gasp.
On hearing what Mirabelle had spoken with pride, she stood dead in her tracks like a manikin as she bawled her hands into tight fists.
"What did you say?" Annabelle asked while acting cool as she strode towards Mirabelle, but deep within her she was simmering with fury, she was already infuriated.
How dare her college mate talk about her late mom in such manners.
"You heard me," Mirabelle said and immediately she finished her statement, a blow landed on her snoot.
"How dare you speak of my late mum in such manners?" Annabelle yelled as she descended another blow on her while trying to hold in her tears as she began beating the crap out of her.
"Who is providing you with information concerning my family?" she inquired as she strangled Mirabelle, but all of a sudden she felt a piercing pain on her arms which made her quickly let go of her.
Mirabelle had stabbed her on her arms and blood began flowing through it.
Standing up and picking up her back pack, she quickly ran to her class as she was already late for her lessons, leaving Mirabelle laying down on the floor with the dagger in her hand.
*
Opening the door, she walked into the classroom while covering her bleeding arm with her left hand.
"Are you alright, Miss Annabelle?" Her lecturer asked when she saw Annabelle's bleeding arm.
"I'm good ma'am," Annabelle replied before sitting down on her seat.
"You'll need to go to the infirmary to be treated," the lecturer said as she continued staring at Annabelle's bleeding arms.
"I said I am good, I'm alright ma'am," Annabelle replied in a harsh manner due to the pains she was feeling from her injured arm.
Mirabelle had really done an incredible job by not only stabbing her with the dagger but also drawing a line with the dagger on her skin.
Like seriously, do students still bring such things to college?
Inhaling and exhaling severely, she waited patiently as the lecturer gave them a take home experiment to carry out on animals with four feet before leaving the classroom.
Heaving a sigh of satisfaction, she picked up her backpack and sneaked out of the academy premises in order not to be seen by the lectures, and mostly by Mirabelle because she was absolutely sure that if she sees her, she wouldn't hesitate to beat her to pulp knowing that she wouldn't be able to fight back because of her wounded arm.

Shoving the door to her house open, she stepped in and noticed that her dad wasn't around.
Tossing her backpack onto the couch, she quickly sprinted into the bathroom to wash her bloody hands and treat her injured arm.
Coming out from the bathroom, she headed to her room to change her outfit before entering the kitchen to prepare what she would eat.
She decided to prepare milk since she couldn't cook with her injured arm.
After eating, she began preparing the equipment needed for her experiment with the hope that she had a rabbit kept in the cage for her experiment.
Heading towards the cage where she had captured the rabbit, she got disappointed when she found nothing in it.
"Dad!" She yelled angrily knowing he was not at home but was the one who had let the rabbit escape, because the entrance to the cage was wide open and the rabbit couldn't open it by itself.
Picking up her dad's arrow, she decided to go into the woods and get another animal.
Though she doesn't know how to use the arrow, she could try because she had seen her dad on several occasions making use of it.
If she had cash, she could have bought another animal with four feet but she didn't have anything so she was left with no option than to walk into the unknown.
With the mind of using the arrow for protection, she walked out of the house and closed the door before going into the woods.
**
She had spent up to an hour in the woods and hadn't seen any animal with four feet except for the birds which were producing weird noises that frightened her, and besides birds don't have four feet, if not she would have trapped one and gone home with it.
Fortunately for her, she saw a rabbit that was feasting on a lifeless Antelope.
"What!" she gasped softly in order not to chase away the rabbit.
She was surprised at the sight of the dead Antelope because her dad had told her that the only creatures that could be found in the woods were birds and rabbits.
She aimed her target at the rabbit and was about to shoot when she unexpectedly felt a strange presence which made her heart skip, making her miss her target and shooting the dead Antelope instead of the rabbit which had already ran away.
As the priest awaited Lilith's response, she hesitated for a moment, her mind caught in a whirlwind of uncertainty. She had meant her previous words as a question, a plea for clarification. But the priest, oblivious to her intended meaning, assumed she had responded affirmatively and proceeded with the wedding ceremony.Lilith's heart sank as the realisation dawned upon her. She glanced around, searching for any sign of understanding in the eyes of those present. It was then that she locked eyes with Alpha Chul, her partner in this complicated journey. He was the only one who caught on to her confusion, his perceptive gaze seeing beyond the surface.A sly smirk slowly graced Chul's lips, understanding passing between them. He knew what Lilith had intended to convey, and he relished in the amusing turn of events. It was a fleeting moment of shared humour amidst the seriousness of the occasion. As the ceremony continued, Lilith couldn't help but feel a mix of frustration and amusement.
As his canines grew long and sharp, Chul bit into the in-between of Lilith's neck and shoulder, causing her to wince in pain and cry out. He licked away the blood from the bite mark before tenderly placing soothing kisses on her, trying to comfort her as she cried against his shoulder. However, she suddenly pulled away from him, pushing him away forcefully."I fucking hate you," she cried, her hands covering the bitten area as she continued to feel the pain."I'm sorry. Let me help you soothe the pain," Chul offered, genuinely concerned for her well-being. However, Lilith immediately stopped him from approaching her."I don't need your help," she said, her voice filled with anger and hurt. She tried to retrieve her rolling travel box from him, but as her hand brushed against his, she quickly pulled back, feeling a rush of spark between them."What's wrong with your hands?" she asked, her gaze fixated on his, her tone a mix of curiosity and confusion. She managed to snatch her box aw
Xavier could now see the similarities that he never saw in Lilith before. She looked more matured, and he noticed a certain beauty about her that seemed to be a combination of her own and someone else's. As he watched her, she placed the brush on the counter and ran her hands across its surface with a sad expression on her face. She then turned away from the mirror, picked up her rollable traveling box, and began walking out of the room. From the reflection in her mirror, Lilith had caught sight of Chul seated in her room, but she pretended as though she didn't see him. She avoided his piercing gaze and hurriedly moved toward the door. However, before she could open it and escape, he stopped her by placing his hands on hers, which were on the doorknob. This action made her freeze, her shoulders tensing up.Slowly, Xavier removed her hands from the doorknob and took her rolling bags from her. He gently made her turn toward him, but she kept her gaze fixed on the floor, avoiding his ey
Alpha Chul kept staring blurrily at Lilith's already dilated pupils."But your eyes... they are in shades of golden colors. Or are my eyes deceiving me because I'm about to die?" he asked weakly, his voice barely audible. His gaze remained fixed on her eyes, though they appeared blurry to him.Lilith's heart ached as she heard his feeble words. She knew time was running out, and the urgency in his voice only intensified her fear. "You need to leave, Lilith. I've mind linked the warriors, and they will come for you," he urged, his gaze locked on her dilated pupils. Slowly, his eyelids closed, sealing his vision in darkness.Tears welled up in Lilith's eyes as she cried out, "Alvin, please don't leave me!" Determined not to let him go without a fight, she hastily removed his shirt, tossing it aside, as if shedding the weight of their impending doom.As her gaze fell upon his bare torso, a gasp escaped her lips. It was a sight that tore at her soul—his flesh marred by numerous bullet wo

The sight of the violent conflict unfolding before her eyes overwhelmed her with a sense of terror. However, a surge of determination coursed through Lilith's veins as she recalled her promise to protect Alpha Chul. Summoning every ounce of courage within her, she took a deep breath and mustered the strength to step out of the car. Her bow and quiver of arrows hung securely behind her, ready to be unleashed.Stepping onto the battlefield, Lilith felt her heartbeat pounding in her ears, the adrenaline coursing through her veins. She found a strategic position, ensuring she had a clear line of sight. Taking a moment to steady her trembling hands, she focused on her task at hand.As she
Alpha Alvin walked into the gym room where the warriors were preparing for the war."If you're going to war, Lilith, you need to know how to defend yourself because I'll be at the battlefront and I can't take you there with me," Alpha Chul stated, his voice filled with concern as he walked around her. They stood in the spacious gym room where the warriors were preparing for the upcoming battle.Lilith shrugged, a hint of determination in her eyes. "I can defend myself, don't worry."He arched an eyebrow. "And how do you plan to defend yourself?""I can shoot arrows. I saw it in her memory, and I have a strong feeling that I can do it," she replied confidently.Alpha Chul motioned for one of the warriors to bring him a bow and arrow. The warrior promptly fetched the requested items and handed them to him."Alright, Lilith. See that target over there? If you can propel the arrow and hit the bullseye, then you can come with us," he explained, placing the arrows in her hands before steppi
Alpha Chul crouched to the floor as he felt a sudden pain in his heart, as though an important element in his life was about to leave."Annabelle, please don't leave me. Lilith, come and hug me now. Annabelle is about to go away from my heart... go away from there so you wouldn't get pulled in," Chul pleaded, his voice filled with desperation. He saw tears streaming down Lilith's face, and his instinct was to run to her, but in her attempt to reach him, her footing slipped on the edge of the cliff, causing her to fall backward.A surge of panic filled Lilith as she plummeted, but she managed to grab hold of a stone jutting out from the cliff's edge. Hanging on for dear life, she heard Chul's voice calling out her name as he peered down the cliff."I can't hold on for too long. I have no idea why I want to live now," she yelled, her voice trembling with fear."Take my hand," Chul offered, extending his hand toward her. As soon as she grasped his hand, a flood of memories rushed throug
Lilith woke from her sleep, her eyes fluttering open. She felt a lingering sensation, a memory that seemed vivid yet out of place. Her heart raced with confusion as she glanced around her room, realizing that she was alone."Was that my memory?" she pondered silently, her voice laced with uncertainty. The image of Alpha Chul, her mate, laying on her with her long hair caressing his face, had been so clear. But now, in the emptiness of her room, it could only mean that it had been a dream.Tears welled up in her eyes, and her voice cracked with a broken heart. "Was it all just a dream?" she murmured, her disappointment washing over her. The memory had felt so real, so intimate, and now it was ripped away from her.Frustration surged through her, overwhelming her senses. She yelled in anguish, throwing her cushion aside and succumbing to a torrent of tears. The weight of confusion and longing pressed upon her, intensifying the pain she felt.As she rose from her bed, voices began to ech

Panic washed over her, and before she could gather her thoughts, she instinctively turned away, only to sense another presence behind her. Overwhelmed by fear and unable to think clearly, she dashed towards the nearest door she saw, desperately locking it behind her.Meanwhile, Alpha Chul sat in his room, drowning his sorrows in liquor while memories of his past with his deceased mate consumed his thoughts. After witnessing Lilith's terrified reaction in the woods, he became convinced that she had encountered a ghost.
