A maid pulled her over stuffing a bonquet flower in her hands, "The wedding ceremony is starting and the Luna said you should go in first as the bridesmaid,"

"I don't even want to be... " The maid hurried back, "Sorry I'm just following orders," she tried to move when the spotlight shone on her. She had no choice and stepped forward.

Myra walked down the aisle slowly, her gaze fixed ahead, her expression calm despite the storm raging within her. At the end of the aisle stood her mate… who is about to become a husband.

Aiden’s expression shifted the moment he saw her. His eyes lingered for a second, taking in the way she looked, the way others were already looking at her. His face tightened, his fists clenching at his sides as his wolf became restless. Just a few more minutes, he told himself. It will all be over.

Behind her, Alpha Ryan and Luna Daria walked proudly beside Lyka, who looked radiant in her wedding dress, her smile soft but victorious. She had won, and she knew it. When her eyes met Aiden’s, she smiled, and he forced himself to return it.

At the altar, their hands met, and the priest began the ceremony. “We are gathered here today to witness the union between Aiden Stonefield and Lyka Hendrix…” The words blurred in Myra’s ears as her heart pounded against her chest. “If anyone has a reason why these two should not be joined, speak now or forever hold your peace.”

A silence fell over the hall, everyone instinctively turned towards Myra, but she said nothing, crossing her legs and watching the ceremony.

Instead, Aiden stepped forward.

A ripple of surprise moved through the guests as he reached for the microphone, his fingers tightening slightly around it. “Before we proceed, there is something I need to do first,” he said, his voice controlled, but not entirely steady.

His eyes locked onto hers. Myra’s body trembled faintly. She already knew what was going to happen next.

“I, Aiden Stonefield, Beta of the Crimson Moon Pack, reject Myra Hendrix as my mate.”

For a moment, everything went still. Then Myra smiled sardonically as the pain tore her chest.

Aiden felt it instantly. The bond disappeared like it had never existed, her presence, her scent, everything that had once tied her to him gone in a single breath. A hollow feeling spread through him, but he pushed it down, convincing himself it was relief, that this was justice, that Kylie would finally rest.

Across the hall, Myra’s knees gave way beneath her as a broken sound escaped her lips. “Why…?” The word barely formed, choked by tears as pain tore through her body, her hands clutching weakly at the ground.

Kendall moved immediately, but Alpha Ryan’s voice cut through the air before he could reach her.

“Anyone who dares to help her will be exiled from this pack and blacklisted from the werewolf world.”

No one dared helped her, Kendall stood there helpless and frustrated.

“She is a criminal,” Alpha Ryan continued coldly. “What she is experiencing is nothing but retribution.”

Myra remained where she was, seated on the floor, tears falling silently as the weight of his words pressed down on her. Slowly, the tears stopped, and her expression emptied, as though whatever was left inside her had finally gone still.

She lifted her head and looked toward the altar.

The ceremony continued.

Vows were exchanged, hands were held, and smiles returned to faces as if nothing had happened, as if she had never existed. Then came the final moment.

Aiden pulled Lyka closer, his hand resting against her waist as he lowered his head to her neck and sank his teeth into her skin, sealing the mark.

The instant it happened, Myra’s body jerked violently as another wave of pain surged through her, sharper, deeper, final. A broken sound escaped her lips as she forced herself to stand, her body trembling under the weight of everything she had just lost.

She turned and ran, as fast as she could, as far as she could go.

Out of the hall, past the gates, past the guards, her vision blurred as tears streamed down her face. Her body shifted mid-run, bones cracking as her wolf took over, carrying her faster, farther, until she reached the cliff at the edge of the territory.

She shifted back, her body bare against the cold air as she stepped closer to the edge, her chest rising and falling unevenly.

Her existence had always felt like a mistake. To her father, to her pack… even to her mate.

All she had ever wanted was a fraction of the love that came so easily to Lyka, something small, something real, something that could have made her stay.

But maybe she was never meant to have any of it.

A hollow laugh left her lips as tears slipped down her face.

“Mom…” her voice trembled softly. “I’m tired.”

And without another thought, she stepped forward.

Her face turned sharply to the side. Blood trickled from the corner of her mouth. Her face scrunched up in pain. All her life, she had been the pampered princess of the Stonefield family. Her parents and brother doted on her like a precious jewel. She had never been treated so brutally. A tear slipped from her eye. “Oh my goodness. Our ghost is crying,” one of the men mocked. The whole room erupted in loud laughter. Their cruel voices made her tears fall faster. “Who sent you to kidnap me?” Kylie screamed at the top of her lungs, her voice full of vicious anger. “I will kill all of you! Every fucking last one of you!” “Enough, enough, enough!” One man shoved a dirty cloth into her mouth, gagging her and silencing her screams. She could only glare at them as they continued laughing and mocking her. One of the kidnappers slipped out to make a phone call. The other line picked up after a few rings. A deep voice answered. “We finished what you instructed and left the body there. Wha

“Hehe,” Myra laughed dryly. “He’s just a very important person, I told you before.” A phone ringing echoed through the room, breaking the silence, Matteo brought out the buzzing phone, he gave Myra one last look before stepping outside to answer the call. Myra finally breathed a sigh of relief. Phew! She stood up and excused herself. “I’ll go check on Kendall.” She walked into his ward. Kendall was already asleep. Myra stood there quietly, watching him for a moment with concern in her eyes. Suddenly, Kendall groaned and stirred. He slowly woke up and tried to move his injured arm, but pain shot through him and he groaned again. Myra rushed to his side. “Hey, don’t push yourself,” she said gently, helping him sit up.nShe looked at him with warm, friendly affection in her eyes. “What happened to you?” Kendall paused and took a deep breath, the injury on his shoulder hurt him like hell, but he still managed to talk. “I was looking for you,” he started, his voice rough. “Aft

Matteo locked his gaze on her, making Myra feel a little nervous. “Hi, Melissa. Are you busy? I need your help,” Myra said quickly. Melissa nodded and stood up. Before she could move, Mateo rushed forward and grabbed Myra’s arm, carefully examining her body for any bruises. His touch sent sparks all over her skin, making her face flush red. She pushed him back gently and shook her head. “It’s not me that needs help. It’s my friend.” Melissa raised an eyebrow. “Is Bria alright?” “Not Bria,” Myra replied. “Come on, I’ll introduce you to him.” She grabbed Melissa’s arm to lead her, but Dante quickly held Melissa’s hand, stopping her.“Another doctor can check on him. You just need to rest and sleep,” Dante said, his gaze full of affection. Melissa removed his hand gently and held his cheek. “Don’t worry, it’s just a regular check-up. Nothing serious.” She tried to free her arm, but Dante refused to let her leave his sight. Melissa sighed and held Myra’s arm instead. Myra lowered

Lyka felt like she had heard them wrong. “What do you mean by escape?”She slammed her hands on the table, then threw her plates on the floor. The sound of breaking ceramic echoed loudly throughout the house.“How could one fucking prisoner escape under your watch? Are you all that incompetent?” she screamed. In rage, she threw more food across the room.Luna Daria stepped out of Elvis’s room after hearing the loud commotion. She saw the dining room was a complete mess.“What is going on here?” she asked in a cold voice. Lyka ignored her mother for a moment and faced the guards. “How long has this been going on?” The guard lowered his head. “Since early morning.” Lyka clenched her fists tightly. “Assign everyone to search for him. He shouldn’t have crossed the border yet. He must be hiding in the bushes. Monitor every route and catch him! If he is not found, I swear to the Goddess, I will kill every single one of you.”The guards nodded quickly and scurried away in fear. Luna Dari
