My life was already counting down anyway. What could he possibly do to me now, right?

She had been to many hotels before, but this was different.

Wow. Just wow.

Zamora Royale.

It wasn't a floor button.

It was a gold card.

Damn. He really must be rich-rich, huh? Swerte ko naman pala talaga. Hehe.

“Mr. Zamora, she’s here.”

Itinuro ni Mr. Lee ang loob.

Huminga nang malalim si Jenna bago pumasok.

Shutek. Nandito naman na ako. Alangan namang umatras pa? Sayang ang gas.

Lol.

As the door clicked shut behind her, suddenly felt heavy ang hangin.

Until her eyes landed on the man sitting on the sofa.

One leg crossed over the other, leaning back lazily as if he owned the entire place.

One step.

Then another.

Oh, boy.

For the grace of Gucci and Chanel, ito ba talaga ang lalaking pinakasalan ko sa papel?!

Napakurap siya.

The face card is giving, bruh! Jackpot!

He looked even better in person. Pale skin, sharp features, black long sleeves slightly open at the collar. Enough to reveal an annoyingly attractive throat and collarbone.

A marriage certificate.

But obviously, bigo ito.

“Have you ever thought about how greedy people can be when it comes to money?” malamig na tanong ni David

He already knew why she was there. Hindi siya pinakasalan nito dahil sa pagmamahal.

It was because of his money.

So she smiled softly, hiding her nervousness.

“I-I’ve actually loved you all along?”

Humigpit ang hawak ni David sa sigarilyo.

She was lying.

And he knew it.

Pinatay nito ang sigarilyo bago siya sinenyasan.

“Come.”

Napakagat-labi si Jenna.

Okay, girl. Calm down. Kaya mo ’to.

Lumapit siya

When suddenly David grabbed her wrist and pulled her closer.

“Love me, huh?” Bahagya itong ngumisi. “You really are a great liar, woman.”

But why not try with me?”

Tumawa nang malamig si David.

“Oh. Aren’t you afraid of dying?”

“Hindi ako takot mamatay.” Matapang siyang tumingin dito.

Jenna looked at him seriously.

“We’ll all die eventually. You only live once. Why not live to the fullest?” Huminga siya nang malalim. “Kung bibigyan mo ako ng pagkakataong alagaan ka as your wife bago matapos ang oras mo, wala akong pagsisisihan. Most importantly, you won’t regret it.”

Lies.

It’s better to say we tried kaysa habambuhay tayong may what if, right?”

“And do you think this will work? Forced marriage won’t last.”

Nanahimik si Jenna. Alam niyang may punto ito.

Tumayo si David at naglakad palayo.

“I’m not leaving,” bigla ay matatag niyang sabi.

“I’m not joking. I married you so I could take care of you. To be your wife and give you children.” But I’ll stay. I don’t want to regret anything. Selfish ako, I know. But I really want to stay with you, David.”

Tears welled up. Well, just enough to make her look sincere.

Come on, Jenna.

He was towering over her, and his intoxicating scent was doing nothing to help her keep her sanity.

“You’d do anything?”

“Yes! Just say it, and I’ll do anything you want!”

A faint, cold smile touched his lips.

Pathetic.” Napakunot-noo si Jenna.

Then she finally understood what Eve meant.

So ganito ka pala?

“Is this what you like, Mr. Zamora?” tanong niya nang matapos magpuyod.

But he wasn’t foolish enough to admit it.

David leaned back, his arms resting along the sofa as his dark gaze remained fixed on her.

“You really want this?”

Then came his next command

“Undress me.”

Guide me, Lord. Please. Amen!

Wow. Cold. Wala man lang epekto? Habang kabang-kaba na ako here!

Holy goat

Napakurap siya.

Okay. Breathe, Jenna. Professional ka.

Professional?! Ngayon lang ako nakakita ng ganitong masterpiece!

What am I even expecting of myself?!

“At this rate,” may pangungutyang sabi ni David, “is this how we make babies?

“Babies?!”

“Mhm.” Bumaba ang boses nito. “I’ll make sure you won’t be able to walk for the following days.”

Napahinto si Jenna.

Okay. Jenna, huwag kang mag-panic

Huwag kang mag-panic…PUTEK! Paanong hindi ako magpa-panic?!

“We don’t have to r-rush, you know,” pilit niyang sabi. “We should take our t-time and actually enjoy i-it…”

“And why is that? Passionate fucking isn’t my thing, woman.”

Lalong nataranta si Jenna. “I-I heard it’s better when conceiving daw.

“Oh? Really now?”

“Y-Yes..”

Pull yourself together, Jenna!

“So tell me then,” malamig nitong saad. “Why am I the only one who’s naked here?”

Napakurap-kurap si Jenna.

Shit.
