56 The vampire curse

After watching his wife taking her last breath, Dracula wrote down his wishes on the parchment with ink and burned it over the fire.

The smoke turned green, and Hades appeared with a burst of wind and a laugh.

"You foolish man, yet you say that the gods were selfish. Either way, I don't care."

"Just help me and shut up. I don't want your judgment. It couldn't change my mind before and it won't now."

"Your wife is already dead, so there is no going back." Hades laughed.

"Can we just get this done with?" Dracula spat.

"Very well." Hades waved his hand. "What is your heart's most desire?"

"I not only wish for immortality, but to also never grow old or get ill."

Hades nodded, granting him just that, but what Dracula didn't know was that with each wish Hades granted. He also placed a curse on him, just for the fun of it.
