Rosalia's POV

I couldn't sleep after that, my thoughts ran wild, fear gnawing in my mind that it paralyzed me in bed till a knock on the door snapped me back to reality.

I turned towards it where the door creaked open before I could answer.

“Good morning Luna Rosalia,” Lana greeted with a bow before walking to my curtains and pulling them open.

“The people are talking about you, my lady. They think you’re an amazing Luna already.”

Her words should have filled me with pride, but all I could muster was a faint smile. My chest tightened, thoughts of blood-soaked visions stealing away any warmth her compliment might have given.

Still, I nodded, letting her prepare me because I couldn't muster the strength to do it myself.

When she left I grabbed a blood pack about to crawl back in bed but then I decided against it.

Epilogue Author's POV They say no matter how pretty the next woman is, they could never outshine the bride. And that was the case of our dear Rosalia Hawthorne. She stood in front of the mirror, her white dress falling around her in wave. She practically was a chandelier with the way she glowed, the diamonds on her shimmered under the light, hugging her frame perfectly, every bead on the bodice catching and reflecting tiny sparks of gold. She looked so breathtaking that for a moment she hardly recognized herself. A lump rose in her throat, her vision blurring as tears began to well once more.“Don’t you dare,” Lana warned, leaning in, pointing her makeup brush like a weapon. “Lady Rosalia, I swear, if you cry one more time, I won’t be able to fix this again. Do you want to walk down the aisle with streaks on your face?”Rosalia let out a watery laugh, blinking rapidly to push the tears back before they spilled. “I can’t help it,” she whispered, her voice shaking. “I just… I can’t b

Rosalia's POV My heart was heavy as the last of my things were finally loaded into the truck. My chest tightened, but I forced myself to smile as I turned toward the people who time had made a huge part of me.People I couldn't believe I would be walking away from so soon.I stepped forward and wrapped my arms around Lana. My throat burned as I whispered, “I’m going to miss you so much.” Her arms squeezed tighter, and for just a second I almost broke down, almost begged to stay. But I knew I couldn’t. I pulled away slowly, memorizing her face, her teary eyes, her trembling smile.Next, I turned to Sia. She was biting her lip, pretending she didn't care. I hugged her, holding her firmly against me. “Let’s not give Brad too much trouble while I’m gone.” She let out a watery laugh. “You know that's not possible, you'll be missed Rosalia,”Cleo was next. Her hug was quick but strong, the kind that said everything without needing words. I squeezed her tightly, then stepped back before I

Rosalia's POV “Damn,” I muttered under my breath looking at my watch for the hundredth time. The traffic was unbearable. But then again it was my fault, I lost track of time doing what I loved most, taking care of people at the outskirts of the pack.Since the big announcement I was a hybrid the hospital refused to open its doors to let me help but here in the outskirts they didn't care as much.I looked at my watch once again and my heart was aching.I was late. Too late.By the time I pushed through the gates of the main house, Lana was waiting for me just outside my room, arms crossed, lips pressed thin.“My lady you’re late,” she scolded, her eyes flicking to the scarf before she yanked it off.“I know,” I admitted, breathless. “The traffic was terrible.”“It's fine I'll do the best I can as fast as I can,” Together, we hurried inside and Lana did her thing.“You’re ready,” she finally said, stepping back. “Now go.”“Thank you,” I said not bothering to look in the mirror as I we

Nathan's POV My stomach knotted as I saw her sway on her feet, her eyes glassy.“What’s wrong?” I rushed forward, reaching for her before she could stumble. “What happened?”She blinked at me, fighting to keep herself upright as she stepped closer. Klaus answered before she could. “She overused her powers,” he remarked, his tone carrying something between admiration and disdain. “Impressive… considering it’s only her second time.”I caught her in my arms, steadying her. “Are you okay?” Rosalia’s lips curved into the faintest smile. “I’m fine. As long as now… we’re one big family.”I frowned at that.Klaus’s eyes darkened. “Family?” he scoffed. “These people stole our life from us.”Rosalia lifted her head, her gaze firm despite how pale she looked. “And you stole his too. You killed his mother and now his father is dead. Klaus do you feel satisfied? Is this what you wanted?”For once, Klaus didn’t have a clap back. His mouth parted, but nothing came out. His gaze dropped, his jaw t

Rosalia's POV Daphne’s head rolled across the floor, her lifeless eyes still wide. Her body crumpled beside it, hollow now, all that rage and venom drained in an instant. I dropped the sword from my hand, the metal clattering against the ground.I had wonBut there was no satisfaction in it. In fact I felt worse.Killing her wasn’t the victory I thought it would be. If anything, it only reminded me how empty revenge really was. I’d told myself I had no choice, that I couldn’t risk giving her another chance to stab me in the back—literally or otherwise. And it was true. But it didn’t make me feel any lighter. All was fair in love and war, they said, but standing here, blood dripping down my side, I knew it was a lie. You can’t fight fire with fire. All you get is ashes.Daphne hadn’t wanted peace. She didn’t want a friend. She had to be the main character in every story, center stage, adored and feared. And when I refused to feed into her endless hunger for validation, she hated me

Rosalia's POV I must be the only person on this battlefield who didn't want any blood shed.My eyes were focused on the fight happening behind, was there really no other choiceWhat was this all for?Something solid hit my shoulder. Daphne's grip spun me away from the fight.“Focus on me!” She demanded. “Killing you easily will be no fun,”My jaw tightened as I looked at Lily was narrowing in. “This is not a fair fight you have back up.”“A mere human shouldn't be a problem,”I looked at her, baffled by how she tolerated Daphne's venom, she didn't even have the decency to call her by her name.“Why do you stand her?" I hissed. “You are loyal to only Klaus. Why do you let her control you?”Lily rolled her shoulders. “I can do what I want, nobody is controlling me.”“Then why do you want me dead Lily? I've done nothing to you, I even saved you when Klaus had killed you, have you forgotten?”Lily's eyes narrowed. For a second I thought she would side with me. Instead she folded her arms
