Sophie's POV

A month had passed, and I gradually recovered from the trauma I had suffered.

My broken wrists and fingers had been reattached, but because the treatment had been delayed, I would never be able to hold a scalpel again.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't saddened by it, but I knew I had to move on. So, I signed up for a painting class instead.

I wanted to know what it would feel like to trade my scalpel for a paintbrush.
