CHAPTER 4: BIG PROBLEM

NATASHA POV

Today is my first day of work as the secretary of Mr. Montilva here at the Montilva Corporation.

And until now I still can't believe that he will be my boss because we already met at the bar and he probably had a not so good first impression to me after what happened that night.

Because I got drunk but luckily he still hired me as his secretary even though I heard that he is really picky when it comes to choosing his secretary.

"Hey miss, is Alex inside his office now?" a girl asked out of nowhere with a slutty voice.

I looked at her and she is wearing a red fitted dress and her lips are red as blood and just by the look of her she can really pass as a model.

"Ah good morning, are you referring to Sir Alexander Montilva ma'am?" I simply asked her for assurance that she is really talking about my boss.

Because she might pertaining to another Alex and not Mr. Montilva.

Though I really thought that it was really a stupid question.

The girl just raised her brow and looked at me like I said something ridiculous now.

"Duh? Of Course, who else could possibly be the Alex that I am looking for?" she just said in disbelief.

"Ohh, I am sorry for that ma'am but can I ask if you have an appointment with Mr. Montilva?" I asked her with respect so that she will not be mad at me.

But she just raised a brow again because of what I have said to her.

"Duh? I don't need to set an appointment with him because I am his girlfriend okay?"

"So now, can you tell me already if he is inside so that I can go to see him instead of questioning me here?" she just said with an irritated voice.

And she must be losing her patience with me already.

But wait, what did she just say? She is Mr. Montilva's girlfriend?

Well, she is really beautiful and sexy so that is not really impossible.

"Would you mind if I ask for your name? I will tell Mr. Montilva that you are here because you are not allowed to enter if you don't have an appointment ma'am," I simply said to her sounds apologetic.

Because I just don't want my boss to be mad at me because I disobeyed his rules.

"Tsk, tell him I am Nathalie, his girlfriend."

"And also, can you make it fast because you know I really missed my boyfriend and I want to see him already now," she simply said to me and rolled her eyes at me all of a sudden.

She seems to have an attitude problem. I just heaved a sigh with just the thought of it.

So, I went inside Mr. Montilva's office to inform him that his girlfriend is waiting outside and that she wants to enter his office now.

"Ahh, excuse me sir, sorry for disturbing you but a girl named Nathalie said that she is your girlfriend."

"And she wants to enter your office now but she doesn't have an appointment so should I let her in sir?" I asked him politely.

And I immediately caught his attention and he just frowned at me.

"Nathalie? I'm sorry but I don't know her and maybe she is just one of my fangirls."

"And as far as I remembered, I don't have a girlfriend because I never committed to a girl so just make her leave my company now," he just said to me with an authority.

And get back again on what he is doing earlier.

I heaved a sigh, now I don't know how I can explain it to the girl outside because she seems to have anger issues and I am sure that she will make a scene if I will not let her in.

Tsk, I think this would be my first challenge as secretary of Mr. Montilva and there is a possibility that someone will go here again and claim that she is the girlfriend of my boss.

Because I am sure that he really has a lot of fangirls. I just heaved a sigh and went to the girl outside the office.

Five minutes before I left work, I suddenly got a call from Camille, my step sister.

I just frowned before answering it because Camille never called me if it is not really important.

Because we are not that really close with each other and I don’t know why I suddenly felt nervous now.

“Hello, Camille? Do you need something?” I simply asked on the other line and I just heard her crying.

Oh My Gosh! Why is she crying now?

My heart starts beating faster because of nervousness because something bad might happen at home.

“Natasha, come here to the hospital now. Mom had a heart attack and she is still at the emergency room that is why we need you here, HUHUHU,” Camille said while sobbing.

And after I heard what she had said, my heart skipped a beat and my eyes literally got big now.

Oh Lord, please take care of my mother because I don’t want to lose her.

“W-what? Ahm alright, I will ask permission from my boss that I had an emergency and please look for our mother Camille. I will be there in a while,” I just said on the other line and ended the call.

I immediately fixed my things and went to Mr. Montilva’s office and my heart is really beating faster now because I am so worried about my mother.

“Ahm sir, sorry for bothering you but can I leave already because there is an emergency in my family and I really need to leave now,” I said to him with a sad voice.

And I am feeling that my tears are going to fall down anytime now but I need to be strong for my mother.

“Why? What happened Natasha? Are you okay?” Mr. Montilva asked me with a worried look.

“My mother is at the hospital because she had a heart attack and I really need to go there now sir. So, can I leave now?” I answered him with a worried face.

Because time is running down and I don’t know what is the condition of my mother now so I really need to go to the hospital as soon as possible.

“Ohh is that so? Okay, you can leave now and I hope your mother will be alright,” he simply said that is why I suddenly felt relieved.

Because I can leave already besides it is almost my out time so I think it is really okay to leave right now.

“Thank you very much sir. I will take my leave now,” I just said and went outside his office and rushed myself to go to the hospital.

“Mom, please stay strong and wait for me,” I simply whispered to myself.

And I can’t help but to cry because I really love my mom and I can’t really live without her by my side because I don’t have my father with me already.

AT THE HOSPITAL

“Camille, where is mom? What happened to her?” I immediately asked her the moment I arrived in the hospital.

And she is still crying now and I just saw my step father sitting with a worried face.

“She is in the ICU right now and the doctor said she is in critical condition and she need to undergo in an operation but they are asking us to pay the down payment first for the operation."

"But it is so expensive and we don’t have enough money for that Natasha but we have no choice because our mom’s life is at stake here so I signed a promissory note that we will pay them tomorrow as long as they will do the operation already."

"I’m so sorry Natasha but you need to look for money to save the life of our mother so you have to find a way,” Camille said explaining to me while crying and I think my world has stopped.

Oh My Gosh! Did I hear it correctly?

What? So I need to find a large sum of money by tomorrow to save the life of my mother?

I am thankful that they gave us a chance but where would I find such an amount of money?

Damn, this is really a big problem and I think I am going to be crazy now but the important thing is, they will do the operation for my mom and that made me sigh for relief at least.

“Don’t worry Camille, I will do everything to have the money to pay for the hospital bills and what is important, they will save the life of mom so I will just find a way."

"Now, we will just wait for the result and pray for our mom and make sure of her safety first before I will look for the money,” I just said to Camille and made her stop crying.

Damn! What should I do now? Where should I find the money?

Oh please Lord, take care of my mom and guide me so that I can find the money until tomorrow.

I just heaved a deep sigh and sent text messages to my best friends because they might help me with my problem now.
