Chapter XVII.ii

Jared just got out of the building he hates the most. He got into his car and sighed heavily. It always ends like this whenever it comes to this matter. There was no way he could tell anyone about it for now. His family can be overdramatic when it comes to how he is feeling. Plus he is the heir, there's no time to show weakness.

From his pocket, he took out his phone and dialed Levius. As always the man picks up fast on the second ring.

"Greetings, young master."

No matter how much Jared tells Levius to stop calling him that, the man would always addresses him to show respect. Although Levius can be too formal, Jared does treat him as his best friend most of the time.

At first, they didn't really get along. Levius was like a robot, someone more protective than his guards but then, later on, he realizes how Levius was so loyal to him. From then on, Levius would know first about everything that's happening in his life.

"Hey! I apologize that I'm calling again for another favor,"
