Ava POV

I dashed to my room and I freaked out when I sighted Jane on the floor bleeding profusely.

I moved closer to her"Jane, what happened？ Who did this to you？" I whimpered and touched her stomach.

Jane winced, I pulled my hand from her stomach. She must be in severe pain.

"S...sage, stay away from me" Jane pants.

I looked around me, nobody was behind me. Is she referring to me as Sage？

Her clothes were soaked in blood. I examined her stomach, the head of a spear was in her stomach.

I can't call the ambulance, they will find out that she is a mermaid and this can be a threat to Jane's life.

Sweat emitted from my skin in the air-conditioned room and my hand was trembling. Blood gushed out more from her stomach as I tried to remove the spear from her stomach. I wiped my sweat and summoned courage.
