The CCTV of the hotel only captured the woman's profile which was not enough to conduct a search.

Brother.... whose pendant is that? Lucas asked curiously.

The woman from last night......

That was the woman from last night. You were with a woman last night? Lucas asked with a bewildered expression.

Logan swirled his chair slowly, looking outside the window, his expression oddly calm.

Lucas wanted to know more. Brother.. What does she look like? Is she really pretty? Is she a socialite? Is she a celebrity? He asked in one breath.

But he seemed to remember something. Don't have anti-women disorders?.... Is it cured? Lucas probed.

I don't think so. Logan said he still felt irritated when a female passed by him on his way to the office, even though she was at least three metres away from him.

He knew the woman from that night was an exception, feeling every inch of her body he had a weird feeling he had never felt towards anyone; a strong will to possess her. When he woke up and realised she was gone he felt really disappointed.

Lucas expected his answer; he had always wondered what caused his brother's condition. They had sought the best doctors in and outside the country, but nothing changed. He still got severe rashes and bumps whenever he got close to any woman. When he was much younger, he would ask his mother, and she would always say it was caused by a trauma, leaving him to wonder what it was.

Suddenly, Lucas' eyes brightened with a playful smile. Brother.... I know how you can find the mysterious woman.

Vivian opens the door to see her best friend looking haggard.

Oh my Gosh, Evelyn.. What the hell happened? She asked as she ran into the house.

Evelyn slumped weakly on the sofa, eyes red and puffy.

Looks like you cried your eyes out. Vivian said

Vivian.... Evelyn muttered pitifully.

You'll be fine, my dear, Vivian said, patting her gently.

When Evelyn calmed down a bit she recounted everything that happened. Vivian's face turned red with anger as she thundered out loud.

That vixen.... how could she do this to you, doesn't she have a shred of humanity in her? I've always known she is a bad person, always acting all sweet to people, but she is the worst person in reality.

Thank God you managed to escape those animals, they set you up with.... what if they had some nasty diseases? When I see that shameless woman I'll make sure to tear her apart......

Vivian..... Can I please stay here for a while until I figure things out? Evelyn asked slowly, although she and Vivian are friends, she didn't want to make her uncomfortable with her presence, and would leave if necessary.

Of course, you can stay here for as long as you want. Vivian replied, holding Evelyn's hands in hers.

Vivian didn't come from a rich home but they weren't middle class either. Vivian's father is a civil worker and often gets transferred and is always absent from home, while her mother is a senior flight attendant and she is mostly on air, so Vivian is always alone most of the time.

Anyway, it's good you'll be here with me, now we'll watch movies all day........ Isn't that fun? Vivian said with a smile it was obvious she was trying to make her feel better.

But before then, come..... I'll show you your room, I have some clothes I haven't really worn, they'll fit you perfectly. Vivian said as they both walked upstairs with their hands linked together.

You know what, we could just sleep together....

The next morning.

Morning sleepyhead... I believe you had a wonderful night. Vivian said as she set breakfast on the table.

So we're having toast and a banana smoothie......... Sounds good, right? Vivian said giggling like a child.

Hmmm..... smells even better. Evelyn Said with a smile.

Then let's dig right in.....

After breakfast, Vivian began setting up the living room.

What are you doing? Evelyn asked, confused.

Setting up for movies, I've got an amazing playlist I've been dying to watch.

Oh okay. Evelyn said as she joined to help.

Both Evelyn and Vivian sat down in place already munching on their popcorn.

So we're watching ' Still You ', the trailer is insane, I bet the movie will be so good, the female lead is one of my favourite actresses, Ginny Meyer, she is so beautiful, you're going to love her.

' Moon Struck' and ' Barefoot in the Wild' are the best! Vivian said looking very excited.

Vivian is the extroverted type, always going to concerts of her favourite pop stars and to the cinema for her favourite celebrities, she had several autographs from them and even made a collection set.

Evelyn's pov

Evelyn sat by the window in her room, staring outside, lost in the beauty of nature. The house was located in the suburbs, and some mountains had beautiful flowers around them, making it look like a work of art.

Evelyn had her sketchbook in her hands. Suddenly, she felt nauseous, rushing into the bathroom to throw up.

Evelyn splattered water on her face as she stared at her pale reflection in the mirror. It was the third time she had thrown up that morning.

Seems I really need to get checked. Evelyn muttered to herself slightly worried. After that night with the stranger, she had thought of getting checked because he didn't use any protection and she worried he might have a transmissible disease.

Evelyn texted Vivian saying she wanted to step out for a while.

Don't you dare go fight that vixen without taking me. Vivian replied a few minutes after with a fist and a laughing emoji. She had left early that morning for an interview.

Yes ma'am. Evelyn typed back with a laughing emoji. But Vivian didn't reply, so she figured it might be her turn for the interview.
