13. Snake

Their words left a throb in her heart, not allowing her to close her eyes and dissolve into dreams. And she woke up without remembering them.

Kiara had been in this position for most of her life. She grew up with the Omega family, whom she referred to as her mom, dad, and brother. That was all she knew, and despite their treatment of her as if she were an animal and not their daughter, she adores her foster parents.

They gave her a room by the fireplace in the kitchen, and never allowed her to join their dinner or breakfast while fulfilling all Leon's wishes. They didn't know when her birthday was. It was only when she was ten that her dad told her they were not her real parents.
