38. Beverley in Danger

Beverley came home without wearing panties! She was uncomfortable all the way, but luckily she arrived home without any trouble.

Edward greeted her immediately. “Ma'am, you’re back.”

Beverley smiled. Her attention was drawn to the two suitcases placed on the floor. Her forehead immediately creased.

“Who is going to leave?”

“Ah, ma’am, Michael asked two servants to work at his house. So I will take them there in the afternoon,” Edward explained.

“Why so sudden? Who are you going to move?”

“That’s Sally and Miranda. Brent has agreed to it. Besides, there are a bit too many servants in this house,” Edward whispered.

Beverley finally understood. “All right. I won’t interfere with that.”

“Ma'am, I’ll probably be home late at night, or I might stay there until tomorrow. If you need anything, just tell Daisy.”

“I understand.” Beverley smiled and quickly went to her room. She changed her clothes into something more casual and lay down on the bed.
