Chapter 44

It was an uncomfortable breakfast. Luckily, the head maid seemed to notice my mood and took my lunch in my room. Chowie stayed with me ‘till late afternoon.

We played different types of games that involved a dog. Luckily, there was no time that I felt bored. I wish I could have a dog like Chowie. It’s a shame that I can’t wish for Chowie since it’s obvious that Gavin treasures this cutie and it may be because of that woman…

I sighed and patted Chowie’s head for the last time. It’s been an hour since Chowie lay down and started to sleep so we decided to return him to Gavin’s room.

I looked at the surroundings. We're currently here at the main garden where tea parties are hosted. Not far from here, I can see the guards’ base.

This garden is really beautiful… but I will make mine more beautiful and unique since I’ll plant some veggies and fruit there.

“My lady, Master has sent you a present!”

I turned to look at Silv then wrinkled my forehead when I heard what she said.
