Mona shook her head. She called the police with a sad face, but the man immediately drew out his hand, picked up the dagger, and ran away. The woman yelled and let go of him without thinking. This time, Mona asked with worry, "Are you okay?"

"I'm sorry," the woman murmured and shook her head. “I let the guy go too easily.”

They stared at each other, and Mona asked in surprise, "Mrs. Donovan?"

Mrs. Donovan was likewise shocked to recognize her. "Mona, it's been a while!"

As a child, Mona lived with the Hunt Family and Mrs. Donovan was her nanny. But not long after the kidnapping, all of the Hunt Family's servants left, and Mrs. Donovan also went missing.

Mona didn't think she would see her again. She noticed some bruises on Mrs. Donovan’s wrist and asked right away, "Do you want to go to the hospital for a check-up?"

Mona had only been to the biggest amusement park when she was very little, and coming here again brought back her childhood memories. The weak golden light hit the good-looking side of Leo’s face, making him look softer all over. Mona would never have thought that she would be standing next to him in the amusement park along her kids. Leo turned his head to look at Mona, as he could feel her stare. No matter what he was like, Mona didn't want to have anything to do with him except for her kids. She had learned a lessons, and she would no longer be foolish enough to fall."Mom, I want to play this!" Luke soon ran over excitedly with a flushed face, looking quite thrilled. Mona looked where he was pointing. It turned out to be Ultraman Battle Monster's 4D amusement park. Luke had always been quite serious, so it was unusual for him to look so happy. "Let's line up together," Mona replied with a smile. After saying this, she observed the silent Leo behind them. Thinking about it, she

Mona’s friend Elena, who was out of the country, soon told her that Avery and Helen had gone to the same college and had done the same club activities. They ought to be familiar with one another. "What has Avery been up to lately?" Mona scowled a little and looked at the paper. If Avery and Helen knew each other, was Avery involved in the kidnapping? Without waiting for Elena to respond, Mona said again, "Find out if Avery has gotten a lot of money recently and if she has talked to any hackers." “Okay.”Mona went to the company after she had everything in order. Williams gave her a bundle of papers and remarked, "The first steps for the project are done. Next week, we will attend to the government's meeting. After that, the building can begin.”The meeting was just a formality because they had already agreed with the mayor. Mona read the paper very attentively. She gave it back to Williams after making sure there was no problem. "Pay more attention during this time. Some bad peopl

Mona and Leo would have more problems if they met four times a week. She frowned and made a choice. "You need my permission." Leo grinned at Luke and nodded. "I'll tell you what a dad is." Luke couldn't figure out what Leo really meant by what he said, but when he saw his sinister smile, he realized he had horrible intentions. So Luke moved his head and rested on Mona’s neck. Leo was calm and didn't think it was hard to take care of the kids. Grandpa realized that Leo had not fully understood what was going on. He didn't remind him; instead, he bent down and said to Rue, "Great-grandpa will invite you to my house next time, okay?" Rue looked at her mother with uncertainty. She didn't mind, so Rue responded cheerfully, “okay.” "You should eat more food Grandpa, you’re skinny." Rue said again. The ward exploded into laughing. Leo couldn't help but laugh either after what Rue said. After that, Grandpa dried his tears and told Rue, "Don't worry, I'll eat more food." Rue nodded wi

Mrs. Donovan’s family made her marry a man from the same village after she left the Hunt Family. She soon gave birth to a son. Maybe because Mrs. Donovan’s husband was thrilled to welcome a kid, he started drinking, gambling, and even hurting his wife. Mrs. Donovan had to work in the city all year round and send money back to raise her son to keep her husband from tormenting her. But she didn't know what her husband had taught her son. Her son didn't just not like her; he detested her and was even addicted to drugs. "When I got home today, he saw I had money and came to take it from me...I planned to travel to the hospital to look for a job as a nursing assistant, but he took all my money.” Mrs. Donovan couldn't help but cry.Mona could only sigh deeply when she saw Mrs. Donovan like way. "I have an apartment and need someone to take care of it right now. I wonder if you are willing.”Mrs. Donovan was shocked, and after a while, she accepted with red eyes. "How can I not want to?

"Mr. Cox, these are Miss Granger's medical records from abroad." Nate put a piece of paper in front of Leo at the Cox Group's CEO office. Leo read the diagnosis carefully: hard work, bleeding, shock... Those words made him feel bad. He had no idea that Mona was going through unspeakable anguish while giving birth to two kids. All of a sudden he became angry. Why did Mona have twins without his permission? What did she think about him? She was really close to dying."Tell them to get two kids' rooms ready." He whispered to Nate with a frown. Nate nodded, but he was in a tough spot before he left. "Where is the room for the kids? If Miss Harlow learned that Miss Granger had kids...”Leo scowled and was quiet for a bit. "Put it in Grandpa’s house first. Tell Grandpa the truth if he asks.”The secretary knocked on the door and came in while they were conversing. "Mr. Cox, Miss Granger is here." Leo squinted his eyes in a risky way. "Let her in." Mona took a big breath, opened the doo
