Charlotte's POV

He might sound creepy, but I don't think he looks any creepier. He showed off his beautiful white teeth and raked his hand through his hair as he thought about where he had kept my necklace.

I was shivering in front of him, and he looked at me from head to toe, rubbed his chin, and said, "I think you should rest first. I'll see you tomorrow. I still have to figure out where I put your necklace. I can't remember where I put it."
