The atmosphere was so tense as Darren drove Sharlynn to the Ridge residence. She was so pissed at Ricky-Shawn that she felt a murderous intention forming in her so the only option left was to ditch the party so she wouldn't entertain any harmful thoughts.
She groaned several times as Darren drove and her anger escalated when she saw him smiling widely.
" Excuse me, are you laughing right now?" She suddenly lashed out and Darren jolted before he gained himself and held on to the steering wheel.
" Really Sharlynn? I'm driving!" He complained and Sharlynn cringed when she realized that her tone frightened him. Heck, her tone frightened her! Since Darren marked her as his mate, she had noticed her slightly edgy and aggressive character when things got personal.

Darren looked at the faces of everyone gathered in the basement of their house. The sun seemed to scorch everyone's skin as they headed back to the Toody's basement. Hey guys, I hope that so far you've enjoyed the first twenty one chapters. So far, I've been writing this book from the narrator's POV and I've not been writing often from Sharlynn's POV or Darren's. I've done that probably once and it wasn't for very long but now I'd like you inform you all that that would be happening soon ( for those of you who prefer that narrative angle:-) ) So, from here on, I'm going to be writing more often from Sharlynn's POV and that of the other main characters because I want to fully be able to show you exactly how they all reason and what happens in their head.
