Chapter 27: Losing It

Horrified, I can't do anything but scream internally.  Not wanting to be seen though, I stand still and when Eric recovers, he turns around.  Our eyes meet and he growls.  Annabelle trying to figure out what is going on, straightens and smiles as she sees what he is growling about.  

Once again the satisfaction on her face makes me feel sick and I now know that I have absolutely no more control.  I take off down the trail, back to the pack house and run up to the bedroom.  Crying, I don't know what I can do now.

Before laying down, I lock the door and then throw myself on the bed.  I must cry for hours, because the next time I hear someone it is dark outside.  Picking my head up, I ask, "Who is it?"

"It's me."  Eric says coldly.  "Unlock the damn door."  

When I don't unlock it, he asks, "Why are you acting this way?  You had to know that at some point I would find someone that I wanted
