Chapter 15: Wolves On The Horizon
"It's lunch time." Cindy says excitedly as she brings in my food. All the aromas mixed together smell delicious and my stomach starts to growl.
"Apparently, you were just on time. My stomach is protesting and growling." I laugh and Cindy winks at me.
"Thank you, this looks delicious. I hope everyone else is having such a wonderful lunch?" I ask her politely.
She answers, "Nope. You need your strength, so I whipped up something special just for you. Everyone else is having soup for lunch."
"Oh, well thank you. I hope you have a good day today." I respond thoughtfully, before she nods and leaves to go make soup for the pups.
