CH 07

~Melissa's POV~

"Mother, I said I will love to leave this place." I groaned as I stared at her with annoyance. She was way too annoying. She would not let me leave this cage they call a coven.

Mtcheww.

"Melissa, how many times will I tell you that you are going to be the keeper of this coven and that you should behave yourself and earn the other witches respect. But no, you don't. All you do is plan on how to escape this place." She said in annoyance as she plucked flowers from the stem.

"Mother, you can't understand. This place feels like a bondage to me. I mean, when I left this place. I was able to exercise my powers and explore it." I replied.

"But in here, all I can do is learn and learn and learn. Nothing else to do. I feel like I am suffocated in here." I said and slumped down on the seat.

"Once you unlock another level of your powers, I will give you a chance to explore the world." She said and I was suddenly elated.

"Really?" I asked her.

"Yes."
