~Legend's POV~

They walked towards us and everyone attention was on them. They walked so gracefully but I paid no attention.

"Ava, please. Step forward." My father said.

I don't understand why we should mark each other in the public like this.

"Because you are the Alpha Prince," Ryder said.

I scoffed as I watched Ava walk towards me.

She held her hands out to me to take it and I reluctantly did. We stood in front of the priest who said some chants before pouring what seemed like ashes on us. I scrunched my face and looked away. Ava kept throwing feigned shy gazes at me which I ignored but she did not give up. She still kept doing it till Ryder groaned in frustration.
