Arnold's POV

I went into the building to start searching for Elizabeth. There were few rogue soldiers around, but I easily slayed them. My mind was all focused on finding my mate first.

A few minutes into walking in, I spotted Alan in one of the rooms. “Alpha Arnold…” He mumbled as soon as he saw me.

I barely have time to fight anyone right now. I'll deal with him after I find her for sure.

Surprisingly, Alan wasn't pleased with the fact that I'm walking away from him. “You cannot leave without a fight. I don't think I'll be able to walk out of this anymore. Let's settle this, you either kill me and go on with your journey or I do so and claim my place as the next Lycan King!" He blurted out.

I was so confused but at the same time, it explained why he was siding with Tristan in the first place. “So you decided to side with my enemy just so you could become the next Lycan king. That has to be the dumbest decision you've made.” I said and shook my head in disgust.

Ending seems far to rushed have to say after how long and detailed the rest of the book was I’m a little disappointed in how short and rushed the ending was
