CHAPTER 2

I can't feel calm about right now. In fact, I have been constantly stepping my feet to surround every part of James's room about right now. I couldn't even break down of the bedroom door, otherwise everyone would think that I was really in the heat. Which is not even true.

"Shit, why isn't James back yet on this room? I can’t stand it anymore..." I muttered with all of the panic feels inside of my whole body about right now.

I stopped walking and looked towards the door. James opened the door to his room roughly, before James locked the door from the inside. And I glared at him immdiately. My Wolf tried to warn me not to divulge about the secret letter that James got from Alpha Xavier earlier. Otherwise, everyone would know that I had that power all along. But I couldn't even help myself, and felt so much angry about. Until in quickly, I took the pillows on the bed and threw all of them so hard right at James.

“What's your problem, Sophia?! Stop it!!” James screamed and tried to block the throw that I gave about.

"What's wrong with you James?! How dare you to lock me in this fucking room!!”

I have to divert it at all. However, I had to find a way to get James to tell me all of the plans that he had in person.

“That's because you made a mess in the hall. How can you try to challenge Beta Oliver like that? And why did you have to make such a fuss just right now? What exactly is your problem, Sophia?!” James asked impudently for a moment on there.

I stopped immediately. "My problem?" I turned back to face James and glared at him even more.

"Not my problem. But what's your real problem, James?! It all happened because of you and that bitch Ava!” I pointed right at him.

"Me and Ava? What do you mean, Sophia?!” James asked with his face turning red now.

“You and Ava had sex last night in the pavilion. The night of my inauguration as the new beta in this pack.”

I could clearly see the shock in James' eyes at this point. "Yes. I saw and heard both of you very clearly. Thank you for telling me so well about what you guys are doing on there. Having sex and clearly enjoy it at all.”

I paused for a moment. Waiting for what James would say. But nothing, he fell silent, still very surprised there. "Oh, you didn't even try to tell me about it at all."

“You misunderstood, Sophia. Me and Ava... Yeah, we had sex. It just sex. But I don't love her. I don't even like her at all. Please, trust me, Sophia. I just... she teased me at first. I'm drunk and you are still busy in your inauguration. So, I don't want to bother you at all, because I know it's an important night in your whole fucking life. And Ava took that opportunity from me.”

James walked over to me slowly, and tried to wipe my face. But I dodged. “I couldn't even have done all of that for no apparent reason, Sophia. I was a little bit drunk and Ava took a chance of it. But I will never betray you, Sophia. I promise. I love you..."

This is my chance. “Then what do you and Ava mean by what you and Ava said that night? Why are you saying all of those things?” I asked and put on a sad face. So far by using that expression I have always managed to subdue James.

"You heard about... everything?" James asked hesitantly. He was surprised by what I just said to him. But I need more information and also the answers from him.

“Yes, almost about everything. Why do you want to get this Blood Moon pack from Alpha Xavier, James?” I asked again. And began to expect anxiously about it. I'm not sure if James will tell me everything right now.

“You hear too much Sophia. And it will be very dangerous for you. Alpha Xavier isn't even in this pack right now. Even you as the new beta will never know when he will return. Even if you listen to everything, not a single person in this Blood Moon Pack will believe you. And yes, even Ruth… she wouldn't even believe you either.”

“Ruth is my best friend. She will believe about everything that I said. She really believe on me.” I said calmly.

“You betrayed Alpha Xavier and this whole Blood Moon Pack, James... and why? What was the reason about?” I looked at him in disbelief.

“Eh… even if you tell all of those things to other people, they will think you are just go crazy at all, Sophia. No one in this Blood Moon pack will believe you. None."

James looked crazy. I've never even seen him like this before in the past of three years about. It was as if there was a fire burning in his eyes now.

"Why James? Why did you become like this? I feel like I can no longer recognize you...”

"Because I really want this Blood fucking Moon pack, Sophia! I really need to make this whole pack as mine. And Ava also definitely will give me some of information on everything in this pack from her father, Beta Oliver. Of course by using her to have sex with me. Isn't that a great collaboration thing about to do? I got the information and Ava... yes, she had the fun by having sex. But I don't like her. Just take advantage of her at all."

James paused for a moment and gripped my arms tightly. James looked at me with a look in his eyes that I had never seen before. It's so dark in there. “And you won't even be able to escape of my palm, Sophia. Because I really love you. So much. We are lovers. We must be mate together in this whole life. As long as you…”

"What?" I whispered. I'm too scared to imagine what he's going to say to me right now. It's not like the James that I've known for the past three years...

“As long as you were gonna helping me betray Alpha Xavier by telling me about everything that he said and he did about. And after Alpha Xavier dies, disappears from this earth forever, and makes me the Alpha of this Blood Moon Pack… then I will definitely make you my luna, Sophia.”

James started to smile widely. “Wouldn't that be amazing to achieve? I will be the Alpha of the Blood Moon Pack, and you will be the Luna of the Blood Moon Pack. My Luna. After that, I can take revenge on whoever has so boldly insulted and bullied you, Sophia.”

I blinked my eyelids a few times in rapid motion. I have to pretend. Yes. That's all I can do to make sure that Alpha Xavier is still okay now.

"Did you promise? I will be your Luna instead of Ava?" I tried to challenge James.

James nodded his head quickly. "Yes. Only you will be my Luna, Sophia. Only you. Just you. Only."

"Okay, I trust you. And I will help you with that.”

It felt so strange to say all the things that shouldn't have been said. But this is very important. And after that quickly, James hugged me tightly, while continuing to say thank you. I hugged him back slowly. And everything feels so empty about right now. There was no longer any joy in my heart when I hugged James, all that was left now was pain.

"Okay. I will take some food and bring it here. You must eat. Sorry for leaving you in this room for so long without food. I will be back quickly." James quickly walked out of the room and didn't forget to lock the door again.

I hastily took a piece of paper from James's book that was on his bedroom table. Write a letter using a secret code that only Alpha Xavier and I can understand. Which we have been doing for a long time to share information with each other. Even when I was still an omega, I still helped Alpha Xavier in providing the information I found.

'Dear Alpha Xavier, I don't know how you are in the North pack right now. But I hope if you stay well there. I discovered the fact that James Mason, my boyfriend, and also Ava Marie, the daughter of Beta Oliver Jackson, they are both planning to betray you. By wreaking havoc on you and seizing power from the Blood Moon Pack. I rolled up the paper and tied it with the bracelet Alpha Xavier had given me on the coronation night. With my ability I tried to be able to summon a pigeon through the bedroom window. This pigeon is called Hugo, only he can help me at this time about right now. Hugo had long been the messenger pigeon between me and Alpha Xavier. Hugo knew what he had to do. I tied the bracelet and scroll of the letter around Hugo's neck.

“Alpha Xavier Hayes…” I muttered to Hugo, and quickly after that, Hugo flapped his wings and flew swiftly into the forest area.

I watched Hugo leave with mixed feelings. I feel both worried and scared right now. I hope Alpha Xavier will get the letter. I hope Hugo can finds Alpha Xavier. And I hope Alpha Xavier can get back to the Blood Moon Pack in safety soon.
