Ares pov

I was pissed. More than pissed. Even with the warning I gave, Atlas decided to go off and do the hell he wanted without thinking of consequences.

It scared me a bit which was an alien feeling even for me, I didn't know fear, I only know how to put it on others and not myself. When she got out of the car, I tried to not look at her but it was impossible. I spared her a glance which caught in her eyes, I traced fear, and intimidation.

After she left with Ayesha I poured out my concern to my brother who was also beating himself about it, he wouldn't say it but it was clear that he knew. He messed up big time.

It's been twelve hours since the entire incident and Atlas was out on patrol duty. I paced around my room while thinking about the report from earlier, Morgana’s guys were breaking the rules and going to the town in the daytime which was against their jurisdiction.

“What the hell are you planning?” I muttered to myself while I raked my hands through my h
