Mira’s pov

I woke up the next day feeling a bit nervous.

Today was the date with Lucas. I still didn’t know how I felt about it. I didn’t ask for this… relationship. But it was happening anyways.

I sat up with a yawn and looked around. Then with a lazy groan I got out of bed and brushed my teeth while staring in the mirror.

I could have easily rejected but I had accepted to go with him. Now I was left with no choice but to go with him.

I then washed my face and knew it wasn’t enough as I had my bath and readied myself for this.

When I got out I found out my hair was a mess.

It made me look like a fool. I was still fixing it when a knock came on my door.

“Come in,” I called.

It was Zane.

She entered and was shocked to see me dressed.

“Bonjour,” she smiled.

“Good morning. I can’t get my hair to stop tangling. I hate this.”

She glanced over me. “You look like you have plans today.”

I gave her a look. “Of course I do. I’m going on a date.”
