CHAPTER EIGHTY-SIX

TAYLOR'S POV

I leapt into the open field, darting my eyes from right to left; fists balled and read to meet my enemy. The sight I beheld, shocked me to my bone and marrow.

I didn't just meet him. I met a field littered with the corpses of wolf guards, rogues were everywhere. Zephyr was right in the middle, a silver blade sticking out of his side. He was breathing difficulty, his face and his clothes damped in his own blood.

Our eyes met and he was stunned to see me. He sprang towards me immediately, yelling. “Run Taylor!!! Run!!!!”

I spun around… and dived back into the forest. Zephyr and a pack of wolves crashed right behind me. I ran faster and faster and faster. Hell, I didn't know which way to go or what I was going to do, I just ran.

I could sense the aura of something dark and evil tearing a path behind me; trying to find me. I crashed into trees, tripped on vines and collided against rocks but I picked myself up and I just kept moving until my body began to

CHAPTER HUNDRED AND TWOTAYLOR'S POV I definitely had no intention of using that privilege casually. But I planned on being as moderate as I could- at first until I learned that Zephyr was going to pay for it.I wanted him goodbye that morning, wearing a sinister smile. There was just something so delicious about making him have a heart attack when he sees the bills. I couldn't part with that feeling.I instructed the maids to bring the biggest couch they had. The one Zephyr left it, was so not going to fit all the boxes I would be coming back it. While they found the biggest couch that had, I reached out to Zulu through a guard. He would be my tour guide today. I heard he was given a day off from work. Don't really care why.Zulu arrived a hour after I asked for him. He was riding a pretty large couch, way bigger than I had imagined. I loved it immediately I saw it. It was perfect.“Good day, Luna Taylor.” Zulu bowed.“Oh, save me the pleasantries, where are we going first?” I aske

  • Mated to my Bully    CHAPTER HUNDRED AND ONE

CHAPTER HUNDRED AND ONETAYLOR'S POVTHREE DAYS LATER “Zephyr, how long does it take to draft a document for a treaty?” I grumbled from the kitchen floor while fixing him some hot pot.“Longer than we ever imagined apparently. Turns out the Lycans and the wolves have a lot of controversies to settle. We can't sign anything or agree on anything without going round to talk to a bunch of old werewolves.”I walked in just in time to see him huff and throw his writing pencils on the table. He covered his face and let out a deep sigh. “We are going to be here longer than we thought.” “You are figuring that out now. I didn't think you were that slow.” I whispered, mockingly. He smiled and I laughed at him. “Dig in before it gets cold.” I put his plate close to him. He flung the manuscript aside and settled in to enjoy the meal.“So where are we going next?”“There is a cave on the famous salt road that connects our pack with the Lycans. It extends for distances on end, it's the best rout

CHAPTER HUNDREDZEPHYR'S POV “Last night was amazing, Taylor.” I said, out of the blue, during breakfast although there were more than ten servants an earshot from us.She almost choked on her veggie-salad. She glared at me. I flashed her a naughty grin. She rolled her eyes and returned to her salad. She wasn't going to blow me off. I wouldn't let her. We had unfinished business to attend to.“I haven't forgotten what we talked about last night.” I picked up the glass of wine next to me and took a sip. “We still need to talk about it.”“I already gave you my stand.” She said, stuffing her mouth full of veggies. The servants hovered around, cleaning one spot eight times before they moved over.“Yes, because you wanted to get laid” she eyed me, I pretended like I didn't see that. “But I want the real one.”“Zephyr-”“I thought a lot about this last night.” I cut in, rising from my seat. I signaled the servants to leave so we could be alone. Then I pulled her away from her salad, and t

  • Mated to my Bully    CHAPTER NINETY-NINE

CHAPTER NINETY-NINETAYLOR'S POV After he said that, I knew I had one goal tonight; to stay wide awake still day breaks. Zephyr was so not going to get me tangled up with him tonight. I wiped the dishes clean and stacked them back into the cupboard above the sink then I went outside, finding a seat by the stone table. The cool night breeze would be perfect for staying awake or so I thought. Half an hour later, I was passed out on the table, dreaming of a nice cozy bed in a manor far away from Zephyr. It was Zephyr's gentle touch that woke me. He whispered into my ear while I tried to open my eyes.“You will catch a cold. Let's go inside.”“I don't want to.” I muttered, stretching out my hands. “I'm staying right here.”“Taylor, are you running from me?” I looked at him. “Why would I do that? I'm just enjoying the moonshine.”“Taylor.” His voice was stern all of a sudden.“Mhmm.” I placed my head back on the stone table, my eyes fixed on him.“It's just us lying on the same bed. Yo

  • Mated to my Bully    CHAPTER NINETY-EIGHT

CHAPTER NINETY-EIGHTZEPHYR'S POVI never thought walking away from Taylor would be harder than lifting a boulder. I knew her well, she wasn't going to listen to me. She wasn't going to leave that boy alone either. She loved the attention; to look obtainable and be untouchable. I didn't know how else to make her understand that I hated it when they looked at her.I heaved, turning a page on the manuscript I was holding. My mind far away from its contents. What could I possibly do anyways? She and I are not really a thing. She wouldn't let anyone come close to her, that was for sure but she wouldn't stop them from ogling. For some reason it was different when it came to me. Frankly, I didn't mind. I didn't want anyone near me. She was just enough. A handful in fact. Which is why I keep wondering why she is okay with that. Aren't I enough for now? Aren't I a handful?“Alpha Zephyr. Alpha Zephyr.” The voice broke right into my thoughts. I looked up, to see who was calling. The Lycan ki

  • Mated to my Bully    CHAPTER NINETY-SEVEN

CHAPTER NINETY-SEVENTAYLOR'S POV The Lycan king requested Zephyr's presence almost immediately after we left the garden. Zephyr declined of course, proudly telling the messenger to convey to the Lycan king that he , Zephyr, is too busy doing nothing to have his time.I stopped the messenger and then compelled Zephyr to go. It would not do this treaty any good if he was not cooperative but instead, insultive. It took him a while to finally take my advice and leave but not after he made a clear order that I return home straight away. When he left, I shook my head. He was such a grumpy little boy sometimes. Did I do what he said after he left? Nope. I was so going to enjoy my stay here whether the Lycan king and his dumbass behaviour liked it or not. First of all, I had to find my handsome tour guide - Zulu. I glided gently down the pavement leading away from the garden. I wasn't looking anywhere in particular because I knew I didn't have to. “Zulu. You can come out now. I know you a

  • Mated to my Bully    CHAPTER NINETY-FIVE

CHAPTER NINETY-FIVETAYLOR’S POV “Is it something I said?”I turned sharply, searching for the voice that just spoke to me. Zulu made me a small smile, indicating that it was him.“Are you talking to me?” I asked, touching my chest lightly.“Can I?” He replied with a question. His tone sounded a bit worried. It was understandable why.“Yes of course you can. I'm not as hard core as Zep… my husband.” I corrected myself immediately. I can't be going around calling him by his name.“That's very good to know.” He said. He was still asleep stiff as I remembered him except this time he was making some effort to loosen up a bit. I found it quite flattering.“It's not something you said, by the way. He does that whenever he has something to say and he doesn't want to look like a joker.”“It is a rather frightening way to do so.” Zulu remarked. I only smiled, looking away from him. My gaze went to the closed doors. Who knows how long they will be there. It's best if I find something to do ins

  • Mated to my Bully    CHAPTER NINETY-FOUR

CHAPTER NINETY-FOURTAYLOR’S POVThe night passed and day broke, the Lycan king sent a convoy to bring us to the palace. Beautiful carriages and beautiful she-wolves as escorts. They brought apparels for us to clothe ourselves. The Lycan king wanted us to look more dazzling than himself. Zephyr rejected them all. He didn't want the attention. Instead he only let one carriage and then some guards escort us. It made perfect sense to me why he did that. He was going to show the Lycans he wished to make peace with, he was a pompous proud bastard who showed off at every chance he got. Although I felt there was more to it and so I asked him. “Zephyr, why did you reject the convoy?” “I didn't want to sell the wrong image to these Lycans. They are quite on edge because they know the king of the creatures that has massacred them for years, is in their land for peace matters. They don't believe it's why I'm really here. They don't trust me. All these fanciful stunts will only make them seem

  • Mated to my Bully    CHAPTER NINETY-THREE

CHAPTER NINETY-THREETAYLOR'S POVI sucked in a breath and exhaled. I could feel the lascivious gazes of all the guards burrowing into my skin; undressing me even before I did it myself. I drew closer to Zephyr,. placing my hands on his lap. I calmly pointed out to the guards everywhere. I wasn't doing anything with these people. He whispered to me. “If I tell them to go then you have to agree to takes your jeans off too.”“No!” I sprang away from him immediately. “Alright then, I won't tell them to do anything.”“You are being a pain in the ass right now.”I beamed. It only made my anger worse. “Why are you being so difficult?” I couldn't help but ask him.“Because it's more fun this way. Humor helps with the pain.”“Your pain sure is picky.” I said, sarcastically.“Yes it is.” He replied me like it was an ordinary observation.“You suck.” I snapped. “No I don't. But I have what you can suck.” My eyes widened. It was his words were slaps smacking my face back to back with embar
